摘要: A method and system for establishing an association between a document and a person or verifying identity comprising capturing images of the person's face and processing the images to generate a face feature vector data. The face feature vector data cannot be reverse processed to generate the image of the person's face. The method also captures images of the graphic on the item and processes those images to extract graphic derived feature vector data that is stored inside the graphic code. The graphic extracted face feature vector data cannot be reverse processed to generate the image of the person's face. Then, the face derived feature vector data is compared to the graphic derived feature vector data to develop a similarity value. Then the similarity value is compared to a first threshold value to develop a validation indicator representing the likelihood that the graphic/item are associated with the person.

摘要: There is provided a method and corresponding system for handling and/or generating anonymous biometric and/or behavioural data. The method comprises the steps of mapping (S1) biometric data originating from a subject into a biometric key using a one-way locality-sensitive hash function or receiving the biometric key. The method also comprises storing (S2) additional anonymous behavioural data bound to this key into an existing biometric trajectory in a database, wherein the behavioural data describes the user behavior of the subject. The method is performed to anonymize biometric data from a multitude of individuals, or subjects, per key, where each biometric key maps to biometric data of several subjects, and such a set of subjects resulting in the same biometric key is called a hash group, and a biometric trajectory is developed for each hash group.

摘要: A biometric authentication system, including an image input unit configured to obtain an image by imaging a living body, a storage unit configured to store registration information relating to a plurality of biological features obtained from a biological region of an image of each person, and an authentication processing unit configured to process the biological region of the image obtained by the image input unit to execute biometric authentication based on the registration information, wherein the plurality of biological features obtained from the biological region of the each person are a plurality of biological features having a low pattern correlation with one another, and wherein the authentication processing unit is configured to combine the plurality of biological features having a low pattern correlation with one another, which are obtained by processing the image, to execute the biometric authentication.

摘要: A biometric animal identification system includes a set of jaws including: a first jaw; and a second jaw cooperating with the first jaw to close over and to flatten a portion of an ear of an animal. The system also includes: an optical emitter arranged on the first jaw and configured to emit light toward the second jaw to illuminate the portion of the ear inserted between the first jaw and the second jaw; a camera coupled to the second jaw and defining a field of view intersecting the optical emitter; and a sensor coupled to the set of jaws and configured to output a signal representing closure of the set of jaws over the portion of the ear. The system also includes a controller configured to trigger the camera to capture an image of the portion of the ear, illuminated by the optical emitter, based on the signal.

摘要: A system includes a database, a tracking arrangement, a motion sensor device and a processing arrangement. The database stores profiles for each sports player, each profile comprising identifying information for the player and a playerID. The tracking arrangement captures shot data corresponding to trajectories of sports balls launched by the players. The motion sensor device captures motion data corresponding to a swinging motion of a player or ball striking implement. The tracking arrangement and the motion sensor device: detect a first swing of a first player from the motion data captured by the motion sensor device, the first player being associated with a first playerID; associate the first swing of the first player with a timestamp and a location; and associate a first trajectory of a sports ball from the shot data captured by the tracking arrangement to the first swing based on the timestamp and the location.

摘要: This disclosure describes techniques for providing instructions when receiving biometric data associated with a user. For instance, an electronic device may detect a portion of a user, such as a hand. The electronic device may then determine locations of the portion of the user relative to the electronic device. Based on the locations, the electronic device may cause a visual indicator to provide instructions to the user for placing the portion of the user at a target location relative to the electronic device. For example, the visual indicator may emit light indicating that the portion of the user is off-centered, angled, too low, and/or too high. After providing the instructions and determining that the portion of the user is at the target location, the electronic device may capture at least an image of the portion of the user and use the image to identify an account.

摘要: This disclosure includes techniques for controlling smart home devices upon entering a home with a fingerprint sensor in a doorbell device. After capturing a fingerprint of a digit of a guest and sending the fingerprint to a server device, the server device matches the fingerprint of the digit to an entry in a guest fingerprint database for a first user. The server device sends an operational command to a smart home device separate from the doorbell device and located at a same premises as the doorbell device. In response to receiving the operational command from the server device, the smart home device performs an action corresponding to the operational command.
