    Abstract: A light blocking system is disclosed, which is adapted to be used in a vertical blind which includes a headrail, a control mechanism provided in the headrail, and a covering assembly including a plurality of slats. Each of the slats is connected to the control mechanism with an end thereof, and therefore is hung below the headrail. A gap is left between the covering assembly and the headrail. The control mechanism is adapted to turn the slats in situ relative to the headrail, or to move the slats back and forth in a longitudinal direction of the headrail. The light blocking system includes a cover plate provided corresponding to the gap, wherein the cover plate covers the gap when the covering assembly is in a closed state.

    Abstract: A fixing assembly is adapted to fix a main body of a roller shade to an environment, and is adapted to be installed at an end of a roller tube of the main body. The fixing assembly includes a fixing member, which corresponds to the roller tube when installed, and a fixing support corresponding to the fixing member. The fixing member includes a connecting portion and a snap-fitting portion connected to the connecting portion with an end thereof exposed out. The connecting portion can be connected to the end of the roller tube, whereby to fix the fixing member to the roller tube. The fixing support includes a fixing portion and a snap-fitted portion provided on a surface of the fixing portion facing the fixing member. The snap-fitting portion is detachably connected to the fixing support, and can be optionally engaged with the snap-fitted portion at different positions.

    Abstract: A resistance mechanism is adapted to provide frictional resistance to a cord of a window covering. The resistance mechanism includes a bias member and a resistance assembly adjacent to the cord. The resistance assembly can be operated by the movement of the cord synchronously. The resistance assembly is corresponding to the bias member, and when the cord is moved in a retrieved direction or a released direction, the bias member suppresses a movement of the resistance assembly, and thereby the resistance assembly provides a resistance to the cord. When the cord is pulled in the retrieved direction, the bias member provides a first frictional resistance to the resistance assembly; when the cord is pulled in a released direction, the bias member provides a second frictional resistance to the resistance assembly, and the second frictional resistance is different from the first frictional resistance.

    Abstract: A window covering system comprises a shell, a weight member, a covering material positioned between the shell and the weight member, a control device. The covering material comprises at least one ladder, multiple slats corresponding to the at least one ladder, and at least one lifting cord, wherein the lifting cord is connected between the shell and the weight member. The control device comprises a driving module, a releasing module, and an operation module that are connected to each other. The ladder is connected to the operation module, and the lifting cord is connected to the driving module, such that the operation module drives the ladder to tilt the slats, at the same time, the releasing module is driven by the operation module to remove restriction to the driving module, hence descending the weight member.

    Abstract: A window covering control assembly is used in a window covering system. The window covering control assembly comprises a driving module and a speed control module, and is provided in the shell, engaged to the weight element for simultaneous operation therewith. The driving module comprises a cord collecting assembly mounted in the shell. The cord collecting assembly is configured to operate in a first direction while a first driving force acting upon the cord collecting assembly such that the weight element descends away from the shell. The first driving force comprises at least a weight of the weight element. The speed control module is positioned corresponding to the driving module. A resistance force is selectively generated between the speed control module and the driving module, and this force reduces an operation speed of the cord collecting assembly in the first direction.

    Abstract: A damping device of a window covering is provided, including a headrail, a covering material, and a driving device, wherein the driving device is located in the headrail to raise and extend the covering material. The damping device is provided in the headrail, and includes a metal member and a magnetic member, wherein at least a magnetic pole of the magnetic member faces the metal member. The metal member is located within a magnetic field of the magnetic member. Either one or both the metal member and the magnetic member is drivable by the driving device to make the metal member and the magnetic member move relative to each other. Whereby, the damping device is able to provide a desired damping effect at different temperature or after a long period use, such that the rotation of the metal member and the movement of the covering material are slowed down.

    Abstract: A position-fixing system includes a pole, a guiding member adjacent to the pole, and a movable member fitting around the pole. The pole is immovable relative to a window covering. The guiding member includes a principal axis parallel to an extension axis of the pole, and includes a retaining face substantially extending in the direction of the principal axis, but non-coplanar with it. The movable member corresponds to the retaining face. The movements of the movable member and the guiding member are related to that of a shaft of the window covering. When the window covering is being operated, the movable member is driven to rotate around the pole, and moves along the pole and the guiding member. Due to the retaining face, the movable member keeps contacting the pole to create a friction therebetween. Therefore, the position of a covering material of the window covering can be precisely fixed.
