Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to provide a communication path switching method for improving a throughput of TCP communication at the time of switching a communication path between a first communication path that is at least one of a low latency or high speed and a second communication path that is at least one of a high latency or low speed.
The communication path switching method according to the present disclosure is a communication path switching method for switching a communication path to a first communication path or a second communication path by using operation of a TCP accelerator in a communication path switching system including a terminal that performs TCP communication by switching a communication path between the first communication path that is at least one of a low latency or high speed and the second communication path that is at least one of a high latency or low speed, the communication path switching method including: receiving data from the terminal; and when the data is first received after the communication path is switched from the first communication path to the second communication path, transmitting again to the terminal, an acknowledgement signal transmitted last before the communication path is switched.

Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to enable an ONU to acquire ID information of terminal devices even when a network device is connected between the ONU and the terminal devices, and to thereby enable generation of a logical path between the ONU and the OLT. The present disclosure relates to an optical communication network system configured to connect terminal devices and a passive optical network (PON) system via a network device. The PON system includes an optical line terminal and an optical network unit connected using an optical transmission line. The optical network unit is configured to construct a tunnel to the network device, acquire ID information of the terminal devices connected to the network device from the terminal devices via the tunnel, and generates a logical path to the optical line terminal on the optical transmission line using the acquired ID information.

Abstract: The present disclosure aims to make it possible to simultaneously establish communication between many freely-selected radio terminals without using a complex relay network or a plurality of radio relays. The present disclosure is a communication network system including: a plurality of optical-radio converters 521-1 to 521-n that convert a radio signal and an optical fiber radio signal into each other; and a path controller that is connected to the plurality of optical-radio converters 521-1 to 521-n through optical fiber transmission lines 531-1 to 531-n, receives input of an optical fiber radio signal transmitted from any optical-radio converter of the plurality of optical-radio converters 521-1 to 521-n from the optical fiber transmission line connected to the optical-radio converter, and outputs the optical fiber radio signal to the optical fiber transmission line connected to a set optical-radio converter of the plurality of optical-radio converters 521-1 to 521-n.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an air conditioner unit that allows for greater flexibility in designing the shape of the unit and is capable of reducing the cost of lamp replacement.
An air conditioner unit according to the present invention includes an optical fiber group 17 formed by bundling a plurality of optical fibers 16 emitting a part of propagating light from side faces thereof; an air duct 10 that incorporates the optical fiber group 17 in a space 13 through which air passes; and a light source 30 that supplies ultraviolet light to each of the optical fibers 16. Since the intensity of the light is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the light source, if the same sterilization effect is to be obtained, the irradiation intensity of the ultraviolet light can be reduced when the irradiation distance is shorter. In other words, in this air conditioner unit, since the plurality of optical fibers 16 are arranged in the air duct 10, the air (air flow) in the air duct 10 can be sterilized by the ultraviolet light of the LED having a small output from the light source 30.
