Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a communication system and a communication method that can avoid network congestion using a simple approach. The communication system of the present invention is characterized in that a time distribution server that transmits time information to terminals distributes a time different from the standard time for each terminal, and the terminal performs communication on the basis of the distributed time, and further characterized in that, for a time synchronizing packet transmitted from a time distribution server on the Internet to a terminal, a node or the like in the middle of the path performs transfer control or rewrites the packet, thereby causing the terminal to recognize a different time, and the terminal performs communication on the basis of the time.

Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to reduce a time delay from inputting an asynchronous video to outputting the synthesized video.
The present disclosure relates to a device for synthesizing a plurality of video signals input asynchronously into a video signal displayed on one screen, in which, when input of an input frame is not completed for any one of the plurality of video signals, using data of a past input frame of the video signal instead of data whose input has not been completed, the video signal displayed on the one screen is synthesized.

Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to reduce a delay in time from the video input of an asynchronous video to the output of a composite video.
The present disclosure is a device and a method, in which the device composes a plurality of video signals which have been input asynchronously into a video signal displayed on one screen, wherein the one screen is constituted by a plurality of sub-screens the number of which is greater than the plurality of video signals, and the plurality of video signals are arranged on a sub-screen out of the plurality of sub-screens such that an output delay of each video signal is reduced to compose the plurality of video signals.

Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to measure a delay time occurring in a device that receives or outputs a video or an audio without requiring a special apparatus or precise inter-apparatus time synchronization.
According to the present disclosure, there is provided a system including: a remote apparatus connected to a device that executes processing of outputting or receiving data of a video or an audio via a communication network; and a user terminal that transmits and receives a signal to and from the remote apparatus via the communication network, in which the system performs, in the device and the remote apparatus, processing of outputting or receiving a video or an audio having a predetermined pattern, detects, in the user terminal or the remote apparatus, outputting or receiving of the video or the audio having the pattern, and calculates a delay time in the device by setting a timing at which outputting or receiving of the video or the audio having the pattern is detected as a reference and using timings at which the device and the remote apparatus transmit the data of the video or the audio having the pattern via the communication network.
