Abstract:
A method includes communicating with a first cell using a first uplink and downlink configuration and a second cell using a second uplink and downlink configuration, said first cell having predetermined configuration; providing communication feedback for said first cell and the second cell on said second cell using a physical uplink shared channel; and determining a codebook size for said feedback in dependence on downlink assignment indicator information received in an uplink grant.
Abstract:
A technique is provided to control transmitting, by a mobile station (MS) that uses carrier aggregation, a message including an interoperability test (IOT) indication for one or more uplink-downlink (UL-DL) configuration combinations of time-division-duplex (TDD) radio frames for use by a primary cell and a secondary cell. In one example implementation, an IOT indication may be provided for one or more (or each) uplink-downlink configuration combinations (e.g., one IOT indication per UL-DL configuration combination). In another example implementation, an IOT indication may be provided for one or more sets of uplink-downlink configuration combinations, where each set may include a plurality of UL-DL configuration combinations.
Abstract:
A base station determines a first set of PUCCH resources to use for a first set of UEs to send acknowledgment information to the base station for a first group of DL subframes. The first set of PUCCH resources starts at a first index. The base station determines a second set of PUCCH resources to use for a second set of UEs to send acknowledgment information to the base station for a second group of DL subframes. The second set of PUCCH resources starts at a second index. The UEs in the first set only use the first set of PUCCH resources. The UEs in the second set use the first and second sets of PUCCH resources. For an UL reception, acknowledgement information is received from the first UEs using the first set of PUCCH resources and from the second UEs using the first and second sets of PUCCH resources.
