摘要: A light signal detection device includes a light receiving optical system configured to receive a reflection signal reflected from an object when irradiation light emitted from an irradiation unit hits the object and reflects from the object; and circuitry configured to binarize the received reflection signal using a first threshold value, based on a determination of whether the reflection signal is equal to or greater than the first threshold value; binarize the received reflection signal using a second threshold value set with a given value similar to a noise signal value, based on a determination of whether the reflection signal is equal to or greater than the second threshold value; and measure a time difference between a time of emitting the irradiation light from the irradiation unit and a time of receiving a reflection signal equal to or greater than the first threshold value or the second threshold value.

摘要: An optical scanner includes a light source including a plurality of light emitting elements, a polygon mirror which deflects light from the light source for scanning a surface of a subject, an optical element arranged between the light source and the polygon mirror, having optical power in a sub scanning direction, a synchronous detector which detects the light deflected by the polygon mirror for synchronous detection and generates a signal for controlling a timing at which the scanning of the surface is started, and a fixing element which secures one end of the optical element. The light emitting elements of the light source are aligned with a certain tilt angle relative to the sub scanning direction. Light from one of the light emitting elements disposed closest to the fixing element in a main scanning direction is used for synchronous detection.

摘要: An optical scanning device includes a plurality of scanning optical systems that focus light beams deflected by an optical deflector onto corresponding scanning surfaces. The systems include a first scanning optical system and a second scanning optical system. The first scanning optical system and the second scanning optical system are disposed respectively at each side of a plane including a rotation axis of a polygonal-mirror optical deflector. Each of the scanning optical systems includes a synchronous detection optical system that determines a timing to start scanning the scanning surfaces with the light beams. When a time from the end of an effective scanning area in the second scanning optical system to synchronous detection in the first scanning optical system is Ta, and a time from the end of an effective scanning area in the first scanning optical system to synchronous detection in the second scanning optical system is Tb, Ta>Tb.
