Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a laser detection method for port machinery equipment including: providing with a laser radar device: selecting a suitable laser radar device and installing on the port machinery, ensuring that an installation position and angle of the device can provide a good detection range and field of view; emitting and receiving laser: emitting a laser beam and receiving reflected light signals by the laser radar device, emitting a pulsed laser beam by the laser radar device, forming a narrow beam of laser by focusing with an optical component. The laser detection method uses a Velodyne® VLP-32C infrared laser, which has high resolution and a large number of detection points, can provide high-precision laser data to more accurately describe a port environment and target objects. Through a PointNet++deep learning mode, global perception and analysis of laser data can be carried out to obtain target object information.

The method includes determining object data including a direction, a phase, and a timing of signals reflected from one or more objects within the three-dimensional space. The method includes detecting, by a processor, the one or more objects in the three-dimensional space based on the object data. The method includes rendering, by the processor, an image corresponding to the one or more detected objects.

Abstract: A method for generating an activation signal for a warning display of a user of smart glasses. First surroundings sensor signals from the rear and/or lateral surroundings of the user of the smart glasses are received using a processing unit. At least one object in the rear and/or lateral surroundings of the user of the smart glasses is detected as a function of the received first surroundings sensor signals. Second surroundings sensor signals are received as a function of the detected object. First and second motion signals of the user are received. A first movement trajectory of the detected object and a second movement trajectory of the smart glasses user are ascertained. A likelihood of a collision of the user of the smart glasses with the detected object is ascertained as a function of the ascertained first and second movement trajectories.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to providing sensor data on a display of a vehicle. For instance, data points generated by a lidar sensor may be received. The data points may be representative of one or more objects in an external environment of the vehicle. A scene including a representation of the vehicle from a perspective of a virtual camera, a first virtual object corresponding to at least one of the one or more objects, and a second virtual object corresponding to at least one object identified from pre-stored map information may be generated. Supplemental points corresponding to a surface of the at least one object identified from the pre-stored map information may be generated. A pulse including at least some of the data points generated by the sensor and the supplemental points may be generated. The scene may be displayed with the pulse on the display.
