摘要： An apparatus can be used to process photographic silver halide materials in an “almost dry” format. This apparatus includes means for supplying the photographic material as well as photochemical delivery articles and means for providing the chemicals for photochemical reaction and image formation. The apparatus can also include heating means for speeding up the reaction, scanning means and solution applicators at various stations. The delivery articles can be laminated or other wise contacted with the imaged photographic materials on the silver halide emulsion side allowing photochemicals to diffuse into and out of the materials for the desired chemical reactions. Multiple delivery articles can be used in sequence to provide the desired sequence of photochemical reactions.

摘要： Image formation in photosensitive silver halide materials can be simplified by photoprocessing the imagewise exposed materials using photochemical delivery articles that consist essential of a nonporous substrate and a hydrogel that contains the one or more photochemicals needed for image formation. The delivery articles can be laminated or otherwise contacted with the imagewise exposed materials on the silver halide emulsion side allowing photochemicals to diffuse into and out of the materials for the desired photochemical reactions. Multiple delivery articles can be used in sequence to provide the desired sequence of photochemical reactions. Resulting images at any stage of processing can be digitized by scanning and the images can be stored, printed, displayed or transmitted electronically for a number of useful purposes.

摘要： This invention relates to a method of forming a viewable image from a scene exposed onto a color negative photographic film element and for producing a color image suited for conversion to an electronic form and subsequent reconversion into a viewable form comprising: color developing an imagewise exposed color negative photographic film element with a color developer as described herein said color development being carried out by contacting said film with the developer for a period of 20 to 90 seconds at a temperature of 40° C. or greater; WHEREIN the layer units of the film element each exhibits a dye image gamma of less than 1.0, the element exhibits an exposure latitude of at least 2.7 log E, where E is exposure measured in lux-seconds, and a light sensitivity of at least ISO 50, the gamma ratio of each of the red, green and blue light recording layer units is between about 0.80 and 1.30, and the average layer thickness is 1.5 micrometers or less.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and system for reusing a washing solution within a processor for processing photographic material. In the method and system of the present invention, sequential washing stages are applied to the processor. During one of the wash stages, and preferably a wash stage subsequent to an initial a first wash stage (a second wash stage), a volume of washing solution which is greater than the washing solution applied in the first wash stage is applied. The washing solution applied in the second or subsequent wash stage is subject to a chemical treatment such as an ion exchange, and is thereafter, recycled back to the processor for reuse in processing photographic material and/or cleaning the components of the processor.
