摘要: An electronic notebook includes a case; a sheet-like display medium provided in the case, containing charged particles, and having a first surface and a second surface; a first electrode disposed on the case; and a second electrode disposed on the case. By changing a positional relationship between the display medium and the first electrode and the second electrode, the display medium and the first electrode and the second electrode take on either an arranged state in which the display medium is interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode so that the first surface of the display medium opposes the first electrode and the second surface of the display medium opposes the second electrode, or a non-arranged state that is a state other than the arranged state.

摘要: A display medium includes a pair of substrates, an electrophoretic medium, and a partitioning medium. The pair of substrates is disposed in spaced-apart relation and substantially parallel to each other. The electrophoretic medium is disposed between the pair of substrates and contains charged particles. An electric field generated between the pair of substrates causes the charged particles contained in the electrophoretic medium to migrate for switching a display state. The partitioning medium has fluidity and is phase-separated from the electrophoretic medium at least at room temperature. The partitioning medium is in a phase-separated state phase-separated from the electrophoretic medium. The partitioning medium is disposed between the pair of substrates as a partition to partition the electrophoretic medium.

摘要: Connector terminals 13 connected to ends of respective electric wires 12 are inserted into an electric wire insertion section 11b formed in a housing body 11 of a waterproof connector 10. The connector terminals 13 are attached to respective terminal attachment sections 11a. The connector comprises a plug 14 which is molded on the outer peripheral surfaces of the electric wires 12 situated in the electric wire insertion section 11b and which is removably fitted into the electric wire insertion section 11b with a slight gap between the inner peripheral surface of the electric wire insertion section 11b and the plug 14; and a resiliently-deformable annular sealing body 15 which is retained in a retention groove formed along an outer peripheral surface of the plug 14 and which is brought into intimate contact with the inner peripheral surface of the electric wire insertion section 11b.

摘要: Terminals connected to wires pass through insertion holes of a holder and the segment holes of a seal member, and are held in the receptors of a connector housing in a state such that the seal member is housed in a recess of a seal setting portion of the connector housing. A pressing portion of the holder containing indents compresses the seal member to thereby reduce the respective sizes of the segment holes of the seal member so as deform the segment holes to shrink in conformity with the outer shape of the inserted wires.

摘要: A pair of electric connection boxes are mounted respectively on a large-size instrument panel and a body panel in an automobile and have respective collective-connecting connector portions. One or both of the electric connection boxes is movably supported through resilient support members (for example 27) such as rubber pieces or springs within an outer frame which is fixedly mounted on the associated panel so as to be self-aligning when the boxes are joined. A bolt (for example 58) is used to fix the connector portions (for example 33, 45) together and also to secure the instrument panel (for example 10) to the body panel (for example 14). In another embodiment, (FIGS. 5-7) an insulating plate (for example 123) having bus bars (for example 122) is resiliently supported within a casing formed by housing parts (for example 120, 121) which are fixed to an instrument panel (for example 110). Tabs (for example 122a) extend from the bus bars for mating with contacts in an opposed connection box (for example 115) mounted to a body panel (for example 114). A connection box (for example 125), a fuse and relay box (for example 126) and a wiring harness connector (for example 127) extend from the insulating plate (for example 123).
