摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for wirelessly monitoring a micro motion of an object are described. In one example, a described system comprises: a transmitter configured for transmitting a first wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel of a venue; a receiver configured for receiving a second wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel; and a processor. The second wireless signal differs from the first wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel and a motion of an object in the venue. The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal, wherein each channel information (CI) of the TSCI comprises N1 CI components; selecting N2 CI components from the N1 CI components based on a first analysis of the N1 CI components; computing a micro-motion (MM) statistics based on the N2 selected CI components and the first analysis; monitoring the motion of the object based on a second analysis of the MM statistics; performing a task based on the first analysis and the second analysis; and generating a response based on the task, the first analysis and the second analysis.

In one example, a described system comprises: a transmitter configured for transmitting a first wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel of a venue; a receiver configured for receiving a second wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel; and a processor. The second wireless signal differs from the first wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel that is impacted by a movement of an object in the venue. The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal, wherein each channel information (CI) of the TSCI comprises a plurality of CI components, each of which is associated with an index; computing an inter-component statistics based on the plurality of CI components; computing, based on the inter-component statistics, a proximity information of the object with respect to a reference location in the venue; and performing a task based on the proximity information of the object.

摘要: The present teaching relates to collecting and processing location-specific wireless waveforms for use in wireless communication, components, methods, apparatuses, servers, and systems. In one embodiment, a disclosed system comprises a first wireless transceiver of a first device, and at least one second wireless transceiver of at least one second device. The first wireless transceiver of the first device is wirelessly coupled to the at least one second wireless transceiver through a wireless multipath channel associated with a space. The first device with the first wireless transceiver comprises a processor and a memory, which are configured to obtain a set of channel information (CI) and perform a task associated with the space based on the set of channel information. The set of channel information is captured when at least one probing signal is either (1) sent from the first wireless transceiver to a particular second wireless transceiver through the wireless multipath channel associated with the space, or (2) sent from the particular second wireless transceiver to the first wireless transceiver through the wireless multipath channel. The set of CI comprises a channel impulse response, a channel frequency response, a channel profile, and/or another channel data of the wireless multipath channel.

摘要: The present teaching relates to vital sign detection and monitoring based on channel state information (CSI). In one example, an apparatus for vital sign detection is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a receiver, a processor and a memory communicatively coupled with the processor. The receiver is configured for receiving at least one wireless signal from a multipath channel that can be impacted by a vital sign of at least one living being. The processor is configured for: extracting a time series of channel state information (CSI) for the multipath channel from the at least one wireless signal, obtaining one or more periodic fluctuations based on a spectral analysis of the time series of CSI, and determining whether the vital sign is present based on the one or more periodic fluctuations.

摘要: A method is proposed for converting an image in which each pixel takes one of two binary values, into an image in which each pixel can take continuous values. The method is iterative and works in the space domain. For each pixel, a neighborhood of the image is defined containing that pixel and other pixels. In a first iteration, the method obtains a continuous value for each pixel as a weighted sum of the binary values of the pixels in its neighborhood. In further iterations, the method obtains a continuous value for each pixel as a weighted sum of the values of the pixels in its neighborhood at the previous iteration.

The second wireless signal comprises a reflection of the first wireless signal by at least one living being having at least one repetitive motion in the venue. The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless channel based on the second wireless signal; generating, for each living being of the at least one living being, a vital signal representing all repetitive motions of the living being based on the TSCI; extracting, from the vital signal of each living being, a heartbeat signal; and monitoring, for each living being in the venue, a heart rate variability based on the heartbeat signal.
