Abstract: An isothermal container includes: a vacuum heat insulating container; a vacuum heat insulating lid configured to close the vacuum heat insulating container; a body protection case, and a lid outer protection case and lid inner protection case that cover outside of the vacuum heat insulating container and outside of the vacuum heat insulating lid, respectively; a box body housed inside the vacuum heat insulating container; a box lid configured to close the box body; and a cold storage agent provided on a bottom portion and a wall portion of the box body and the box lid. Outer and inner cover materials are joined together at faces facing the vacuum heat insulating lid among faces constituting the wall portion of the vacuum heat insulating container. A joined part of the materials is located inside the body protection case without being exposed to the outer surface of the body protection case.

Gas barrier container (402) includes core material (423), first member (421) that has a box shape including a first opening portion, and second member (422) that tightly closes the first opening portion. Core material (423) is disposed inside first member (421). Inner box (403) includes a second opening portion. Gas barrier container (402) is disposed inside inner box (403). The second opening portion is closed by external plate (401). First member (421) has such a shape that an outer face of first member (421) fits with an inner face of inner box (403).

The core material includes a first core material, the first core material being an organic substance made of open-cell foam, and a second core material having a lower thermal conductivity than the first core material at a vacuum degree of 100 Pa or less.

Abstract: A vacuum heat insulator according to the present disclosure includes a core material and an outer packaging material including an inner plate and an outer plate each of which includes a resin sheet. The core material is covered by the outer packaging material. The vacuum heat insulator further includes a heat welded part formed by welding a part of the inner plate and a part of the outer plate. The heat welded part has a recess having a thickness that is 50% or less of an average thickness of the heat welded part. As a result thereof, the adhesion and airtightness of the heat welded part can be maintained, and a highly reliable vacuum heat insulator can be provided.
