Abstract: A display device includes an image forming unit, a projection unit, a main body, and a position correcting unit. The image forming unit includes a display surface and forms an image on the display surface. The projection unit projects a virtual image corresponding to an image on a target space by using output light from the image forming unit. The main body is equipped with an image forming unit and a projection unit. The position correcting unit changes a display position of a virtual image relative to the main body on the basis of an orientation signal representing an orientation of the main body. The position correcting unit includes a plurality of correcting units that change a display position of a virtual image by using different means. The position correcting unit selects at least one correcting unit from a plurality of correcting units in accordance with a frequency component of an orientation signal, and causes the selected correcting unit to change a display position of a virtual image.

Abstract: A display device includes: a video display that displays a video for projecting a virtual image onto a target space on a video display surface; an optical element; and a projector. The optical element moves a partial video, which is a part of the video displayed on the video display surface, to a position distant from the video display in a projection direction in which the video is projected. The projector projects a virtual image viewed by a user by projecting light output from the video display and the optical element to a reflecting member. The optical element has an incident surface on which the partial video is incident, and an emitting surface from which the partial video incident on the incident surface emits. The incident surface and the emitting surface are parallel to each other.

Abstract: A display device includes a video display, an optical element, and a projector. The video display displays a video on the video display surface. The optical element receives, on an incident surface, at least a part of the video displayed on the video display surface, and emits an incident video, which is the part of the video received on the incident surface, from an emitting surface. The projector projects a virtual image viewed by a user by projecting light output from the video display and the optical element to a reflecting member. An inclined portion inclined with respect to at least a part of the video display surface is provided on at least a part of the emitting surface of the optical element.

Abstract: The present invention provides a display device that can easily perform control for driving a movable screen. Display device includes light source that emits a light beam, scanner that causes the light beam from light source to scan, movable screen in which a first image is formed by transmitting the light beam from scanner, projection unit that projects the first image formed in movable screen on windshield and displays a virtual image of the first image in a space in front of windshield, and driver that causes movable screen to reciprocate in a first direction separating from scanner and in a second direction approaching scanner. Movable screen reciprocates in a posture inclined to moving directions of movable screen.
