    Abstract: A method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from a base station, a control message associated with a plurality of listen before talk (LBT) threshold values including a first LBT threshold value and a second LBT threshold value. The first LBT threshold value is associated with a first frequency spectrum, and the second LBT threshold value is associated with a second frequency spectrum different than the first frequency spectrum. The method further includes performing an LBT operation based on the first LBT threshold value and the second LBT threshold value. The method further includes, based on the LBT operation, performing a transmission by the UE using one or both of the first frequency spectrum or the second frequency spectrum.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communications in a network are provided. A first wireless communication device may perform in a shared radio frequency band during a first portion of a frame period, a first listen-before-talk (LBT) using a first beam characteristic. Additionally, the first wireless communication device may perform in the shared radio frequency band during a second portion of the frame period, a second LBT using a second set of beam characteristics different from the first beam characteristic. The first wireless communication device may communicate with a second wireless communication device in the shared radio frequency band during the second portion of the frame period, one or more communication signals using the second set of beam characteristics.     Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter node may determine a set of desired transmit beams to use for transmissions during a channel occupancy time (COT), wherein each transmit beam in the set of desired transmit beams is associated with an energy detection threshold (EDT). The transmitter node may configure a sensing beam associated with a directional listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure, wherein the sensing beam is associated with an EDT that is at least as strict as a strictest EDT associated with the set of desired transmit beams. The transmitter node may transmit using the set of desired transmit beams during the COT, wherein the COT is initiated based at least in part on an indication that the directional LBT procedure succeeded using the sensing beam.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for receiver-assisted channel access in shared radio frequency spectrum. A receiver, such as a user equipment (UE) may transmit a measurement report to a transmitter, such as an access network entity, that indicates channel occupancy as measured at the receiver. In some cases, the receiver may identify resources for signal measurement and reporting that are configured by the transmitter, and provide an interference measurement report based on the signal measurements. The interference measurement report may indicate whether a channel is occupied, or an occupancy level of the channel. Resources may be configured for multiple beams, with the interference measurement report including interference measurements for the multiple beams. Further, the signal resources may provide resources for a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure, through signal resource sets that span multiple slots.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit control signaling including a candidate uplink grant configuration to a user equipment (UE). The candidate uplink grant configuration may include an indication of multiple candidate uplink grants for an uplink grant, each candidate uplink grant indicating one or more resource block sets configured for a channel access procedure. The UE may select a candidate uplink grant for transmitting the uplink transmission based on an availability of one or more resource block sets of the selected candidate uplink grant. For example, the UE may perform a channel access procedure for the resource block sets indicated by the candidate uplink grants to determine the availability of each candidate uplink grant. The UE may transmit an uplink transmission to the base station using the one or more resource block sets indicated by the selected candidate uplink grant.

Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a first user equipment (UE).
