    Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for a wireless device to perform channel state information reporting. The wireless device may receive channel state information reporting configuration information. The channel state information reporting configuration information may include an indication to use a wideband precoding matrix indicator format for 3GPP release 16 type II channel state information reporting. The wireless device may perform channel state information reporting using a different reporting configuration than 3GPP release 16 type II channel state information reporting using a wideband precoding matrix indicator format based at least in part on the channel state information reporting configuration information. The wireless device may also or alternatively perform 3GPP type I channel state information reporting using a unified spatial basis selection framework for rank indicators of 3 and 4 for any number of channel state information reference signal ports.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may configure multiple types of resources at a user equipment (UE) for interference management processing at the UE in examples in which the base station employs a non-linear precoding technique. The multiple types of resources configured by the base station may include a first resource type configured for measuring channel gain at the UE, a second resource type configured for measuring non-linear interference at the UE arising from lower-layer data streams, and a third resource type configured for measuring linear interference at the UE arising from higher-layer data streams. The base station may transmit one or more reference signals to the UE over each of the multiple resource types and the UE may determine both a non-linear interference measurement and a linear interference measurement based on receiving the reference signals.

    Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for CSI quality triggered determination of AR model order for a channel prediction filter. A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises obtaining an indication of declining CSI quality in a radio environment. The method comprises, in response thereto, obtaining an estimation of current channel conditions in the radio environment. The method comprises determining the AR model order based on the estimation of current channel conditions. The method comprises performing channel prediction of the radio environment using the channel prediction filter.     Abstract: Mechanisms for beam management. An example method, in a network node, comprises transmitting a reference signal so as to enable each of the terminal devices participating in a first part of the beam management procedure to identify in which of a first set of beams the reference signal is received with highest power. The method comprises transmitting the reference signal in a second part of the procedure so as to enable each of the terminal devices to identify in which of a second set of beams the reference signal is received with highest power. The method comprises transmitting the reference signal during a third part of the procedure so as to enable each of the terminal devices to identify in which of a third set of beams the reference signal is received with highest power. There is one third set for each beam in the first set.

    Abstract: A method includes sending wireless data to a receiver node and receiving feedback from the receiver node that identifies a subset of the wireless data that the receiver node failed to receive correctly and that includes a token value as a label for the subset of the wireless data as a group. The method includes constructing retransmission wireless data that includes the subset of the wireless data and the token value. The method includes sending the retransmission wireless data to the receiver node. The receiver node may be a first client device. The method further includes allocating a first set of token values to the first client device and a second set of non-overlapping token values to a second client device in a network. The method includes respectively notifying the first and second client device of the corresponding set of token values for retransmissions requested by the corresponding client device.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device, such as a user equipment (UE) operating in Frequency Range 2 (FR2), may transmit or receive an indication of a joint beam management and channel state information (CSI) reporting scheme that identifies one or more measurement parameters and reporting parameters. The first device may receive reference signals via multi-port CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources in accordance with the measurement parameters of the joint beam management and CSI reporting scheme. The first device may transmit, in accordance with the reporting parameters of the joint beam management and CSI reporting scheme, a message that indicates a first set of reporting metrics associated with a first multi-port CSI-RS resource of the multi-port CSI-RS resources. The first device may perform sidelink communications with a second device based on the first set of reporting metrics.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for channel state information reference signal in wireless communication systems are provided. The methods of BS comprise: identifying first information corresponding to a number of antenna ports associated with transmissions of CSI-RSs; identifying, a first size of CDM groups associated with the number of antenna ports and a first shape of the CDM groups; identifying second information from the first information; identifying a starting SC index and a starting symbol index; identifying, based on the number of antenna ports associated with a CSI-RS transmission and a predetermined frequency domain granularity of channel state information, a size of RB cluster for the resource allocation; and transmitting, to a UE, resource configuration information indicating at least one of the size of RB cluster, the first size of the CDM groups, the first shape of the CDM groups, the starting SC index, and the starting symbol index.
