    Abstract: A proxy sensing-based channel access procedure is discussed for shared spectrum networks. Within a given network, a distribution of proxy nodes may be deployed around a network operating area. A control node, which controls the proxy sensing mode for the network, may configure the active network nodes to conduct communications via the shared communication spectrum without first performing any type of channel sensing on the shared communication spectrum. The control node may then also configured the proxy nodes to perform channel sensing on the shared spectrum for the entire network. Using the reported channel sense results from the proxy nodes, the control node may determine whether detected interference is occasional or persistent, and whether to take some action to modify the communications or operations of the network.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communications in a network are provided. A first wireless communication device may perform in a shared radio frequency band during a first portion of a frame period, a first listen-before-talk (LBT) using a first beam characteristic. Additionally, the first wireless communication device may perform in the shared radio frequency band during a second portion of the frame period, a second LBT using a second set of beam characteristics different from the first beam characteristic. The first wireless communication device may communicate with a second wireless communication device in the shared radio frequency band during the second portion of the frame period, one or more communication signals using the second set of beam characteristics.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for propagation delay compensation (PDC). In some systems, a network entity and a group of user equipment (UEs) may support a group-based PDC procedure according to which the network entity may provide group-based PDC information to the group of UEs. In some aspects, a UE may participate in such a group-based PDC procedure in accordance with a clock accuracy constraint of the UE and depending on whether other UEs are likely to have similar PDC information. The network entity may assign an identifier (ID) to the group of UEs and scramble a message including the group-based PDC information using the ID. As such. UEs of the group of UEs may decode the message using the ID and adjust a timing of communications with the network entity using the group-based PDC information.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may perform a channel access procedure to gain access to a bandwidth part in a shared spectrum for sidelink communications with a second UE. The first UE may transmit a signal to the second UE using one or more sub-bands of the bandwidth part, and the signal may include one or more sidelink synchronization signal blocks (S-SSBs) multiplexed with frequency resources associated with a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH). The one or more S-SSBs may be transmitted using a set of symbol periods of a transmission time interval (TTI) (e.g., a slot) that are preceded by a least four initial symbol periods of the TTI. In some examples, the first UE may transmit a sidelink control information (SCI) message indicating which of the one or more sub-bands include the one or more S-SSBs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may precode a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) sequence by applying a single discrete Fourier transform (DFT) to the PTRS sequence. The device may map the DFT precoded PTRS sequence to a subset of resources of a set of resources, and may transmit a signal carrying the DFT precoded PTRS sequence. Additionally or alternatively, the device may receive a signal that includes a DFT precoded PTRS sequence, demap the DFT precoded PTRS sequence to a subset of resources of a set of resources, decode the DFT precoded PTRS by applying a single inverse DFT (IDFT) to the DFT precoded PTRS sequence, estimate a phase error based on the decoding, and apply a phase error correction to a set of additional symbols associated with the signal based on the estimated phase error.
