In some aspects, a base station may schedule a plurality of repetitions of at least one system information block for a plurality of dwells within a hop cycle, wherein a subset of dwells, of the plurality of dwells within the hop cycle, includes a resource allocated for a respective portion of a corresponding repetition of a corresponding system information block of the plurality of repetitions of the at least one system information block. The base station may transmit, during the subset of dwells of the plurality of dwells within the hop cycle, the respective portion of the corresponding repetition of the corresponding system information block or another signal punctured into the respective portion of the corresponding repetition of the corresponding system information block. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects related to ACK/NACK feedback for multi-TRP transmission scenarios are described. A base station, may send, to a UE, information indicating PDCCH monitoring occasions for each of a plurality of TRPs. In one aspect, the base station may send information indicating whether ACK/NACK feedback across the plurality of TRPs is allowed. The base station may send rules to the UE for performing ACK/NACK feedback bundling for providing feedback to the plurality of TRPs. The base station may also send information indicating a DAI definition for interpreting DAIs transmitted by the plurality of TRPs in corresponding PDCCH transmissions indicating whether the DAIs are independent or joint. The base station may receive a joint ACK/NACK feedback from the UE in a PUCCH based on the rules, or may receive multiple ACK/NACK feedback from the UE in a PUCCH for a first TRP independent from a second TRP.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications, and more particularly for facilitating autonomous uplink transmission (AUL) using shared (e.g., in a synchronized manner among one or more operators) radio frequency spectrum are described. In aspects, a method of wireless communication over a shared medium may include determining, by at least one user equipment (UE) served by a base station associated with a first operator, access is obtained to the shared medium for a transmission opportunity (TXOP) by the base station based on autonomous uplink resources in the TXOP allocated to at least one UE served by the base station and/or an indication from the at least one UE of autonomous uplink data, and transmitting the autonomous uplink data from the at least one UE to the base station.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. More particularly, aspects of the present disclosure provide multiplexing schemes which may be suited for the single carrier waveform. For example, some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit multiplexing of multiple, different data streams without destroying the single-carrier properties of the waveform. Additionally, or alternatively, some techniques and apparatuses described herein may provide unequal error protection, unequal bandwidth allocation, and/or the like as part of the multiplexing schemes. Examples of multiplexing schemes described herein include in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) multiplexing, superposition quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) based at least in part on layered bit mapping, polarization division multiplexing of QAM with superposition coding, and frequency division multiplexing using UE-specific beams.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to communication systems, and more particularly, to single-carrier waveform generation for transmission. An exemplary method generally includes concatenating a first sequence of data samples with samples of a known sequence to generate a first series of samples, performing a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) on the first series of samples to generate a first series of frequency-domain samples, mapping the first series of frequency-domain samples and first zero values to first tones of a system bandwidth, performing an inverse discrete Fourier transform (IDFT) on the mapped first series of frequency-domain samples and the mapped first zero values to generate first time-domain samples of a first orthogonal frequency domain multiplexing (OFDM) symbol, and transmitting the first OFDM symbol as a single-carrier waveform in a first period.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for synchronization for wideband coverage enhancement. A user equipment (UE) may receive a primary synchronization signal (PSS) and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) in a subframe. In one example, the SSS may be received in a symbol that is after a symbol in which the PSS is received, and after a set of symbols in which a set of other synchronization signals is received. In another example, the PSS may be received in each of a first plurality of consecutive symbols, and the SSS may be received in each of a second plurality of consecutive symbols, wherein the second plurality of consecutive symbols is after the first plurality of consecutive symbols within the subframe. The UE may synchronize with a base station based at least in part on the PSS and the SSS. Numerous other aspects are provided.
