摘要: A readout frequency of a sensor of a digital image capturing device is set based on a frequency of alternating current (AC) mains so that a readout period of the sensor of the digital image capturing device is not an integer multiple of a flicker period. The flicker period is equal to half of a period of the AC mains. A first image frame and a second image frame are captured using the sensor of the digital image capturing device. The second image frame is captured later in time than the first image frame. Whether flicker has occurred in the first and second image frames due to a periodic fluctuation of light emitted by a light source powered by the AC mains is detected by comparing a brightness of an area of the first image frame to a brightness of a corresponding area of the second image frame.

摘要: A user provides a graphical representation of a desired image capture device control parameter curve with respect to time. A digital image of the graphical representation of a desired image capture device control parameter curve is captured. The digital image is analyzed by a processor that generates necessary control parameters as defined by the desired image capture device control parameter curve. The processor uses the resulting control parameters to control an image capture device during an image capture session.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for applying a slimming effect to a subject in a digital image on a camera. An exemplary method may comprise compressing the digital image in one dimension so that a subject appears thinner. The method may also comprise selecting a portion of the compressed image on both sides of the subject. The method may also comprise stretching only the selected portion of the compressed image to retain an aspect ratio of the original digital image.

摘要: A method is provided for storing an original image and a modified image into a single image file. The method comprises selecting the original image, selecting the modified image. The method further comprises creating a single image by combining the original image with the modified image. The method further comprises storing the single image into a single image file on a memory device.
