    Abstract: A punch for the compression molding of plastic material for forming capsules for containers closure, wherein the punch includes a stem portion made of steel and a head portion made of copper alloy screwed to the stem portion, wherein a separation interface between the stem portion and head portion includes a passage for gas that reaches a bottom surface of the punch delimitating one forming cavity where the compression molding of the plastic material occurs, and wherein one channel internal to the head portion communicates with the passage for gas to enable extraction of gas out of the forming cavity.

    Abstract: A mold is provided for forming caps for closing containers by compression molding doses of plastic material, where a bottom wall of the cap, or at least one portion of the bottom wall is very thin. The mold includes two half-molds axially movable towards each other which assume an end closed position without a dose. A tubular element is slidable around the second half-mold and partially defines the cavity. The tubular element contacts an axial abutment of the first half-mold at one side and an axial end stop of the second half-mold at the other side to prevent hard contact between the half-molds.

    Abstract: A male mould element includes a cooling circuit having first passage elements obtained in a first component of the male mould element and second passage elements obtained in a second component of the male mould element, the first passage elements and the second passage elements being distributed around a longitudinal axis of the male mould element so that there exist a plurality of angular positions of the first component relative to the second component in which the first passage elements are in fluid communication with the second passage elements.
