    Abstract: Provided is a display device including a display panel defining a folding area and a non-folding area and including a base layer, a circuit layer on the base layer, and a display element layer on the circuit layer, an input sensor below the display panel and defining a sensing area overlapping the non-folding area, and a light shielding layer between the display element layer and the input sensor, where the light shielding layer defines a plurality of holes in a first portion of the light shielding layer at the non-folding area, and a cut portion in a second portion of the light shielding layer at the folding area.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display; an image processor which generates a first image including sequential first frame data and a second image including sequential second frame data; an image data generator which generates image data comprising the first frame data and the second frame data alternately; and a control signal generator which generates a shutter glasses control signal that opens shutters for both eyes of a first pair of shutter glasses when the first frame data is displayed on the display, and that closes the shutters for both eyes of the first pair of shutter glasses when the image data including the second frame data is displayed on the display.

    Abstract: A display control method and device for controlling a display device. The display device includes a red sub pixel, a green sub pixel, a first blue sub pixel, and a second blue sub pixel emitting light having a different central wavelength from that of the first blue sub pixel. The display control includes setting a display mode of the display device as one of a first mode in which the first blue sub pixel is used to emit blue light, a second mode in which the second blue sub pixel is used, and a third mode in which both the first blue sub pixel and the second blue sub pixel are used; and sub pixel rendering data according to an arrangement of the red sub pixel, the green sub pixel, the first blue sub pixel, and the second blue sub pixel and converting rendered data into output data.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a unit pixel comprising a red sub pixel, a green sub pixel, a first blue sub pixel, and a second blue sub pixel. Each of the sub pixels include a first electrode, an intermediate layer comprising an organic emission layer disposed on the first electrode, and a second electrode disposed on the intermediate layer. The first blue sub pixel includes a first intermediate layer including a first blue organic emission layer, the second blue sub pixel includes a second intermediate layer including a second blue organic emission layer, the green sub pixel includes a third intermediate layer including a green organic emission layer, and the red sub pixel includes a fourth intermediate layer including a red organic emission layer. The first intermediate layer and the second intermediate layer have different thicknesses, and the third intermediate layer and the fourth intermediate layer have different thicknesses.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting device includes four sub-organic light emitting devices. The first device includes a first anode, a first common light emitting portion, and a first sub-light emitting portion. The second device includes a second anode, a second common light emitting portion, a first auxiliary layer, and a second sub-light emitting portion. The third device includes a third anode and a third common light emitting portion. The fourth device includes a fourth anode, a fourth common light emitting portion, and a light emitting layer emitting a first light. The first and second sub-light emitting portions have an integral structure and emit second light. The first, second, third, and fourth common light emitting portions have an integral structure and emit third light having a wavelength longer than a wavelength of at least one of the first or second lights.
