    Abstract: A flexible display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a substrate, a display unit formed over the substrate and a filler formed over the substrate and the display unit. An encapsulation substrate is formed over the encapsulation substrate, and a barrier layer is formed over the encapsulation substrate. The encapsulation substrate includes a base layer and a plurality of protrusions formed over a first surface of the base layer and spaced apart from each other. The barrier layer is formed over the first surface so as to cover the plurality of protrusions and a portion of the base layer exposed between the plurality of protrusions, and the first surface faces the display unit.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel layer including a display area and a second non-light emitting area, the display area including a plurality of light emitting areas and a first non-light emitting area, the first non-light emitting area being around each of the light emitting areas, and the second non-light emitting area being outside the display area; a window coating layer directly on a first surface of the display panel layer; and a first curl-preventing pattern overlapping at least one of the first non-light emitting area and the second non-light emitting area when viewed in a plan view and contacting the window coating layer. The first curl-preventing pattern is configured to prevent the window coating layer from curling.
