Abstract: A seating unit includes a generally horizontal seat portion and a generally upright back portion. The back portion includes a flexible membrane or mesh extending in first and second directions. The mesh defines a generally upright user support surface. At least a portion of the mesh comprises an auxetic material having a negative Poisson's ratio whereby stretching of the auxetic portion of the mesh in at least one of the first and second directions causes the mesh to expand in the other of the first and second directions.

Abstract: A power hub includes a base assembly configured to abut a floor surface, a shaft coupled at a lower end to the base assembly, an impact loop coupled to an upper end of the shaft, and an electrical receptacle block housed in the impact loop, wherein an upper portion of the electrical receptacle block is free and is spaced from an upper portion of the impact loop such that in the event the power hub is tipped over, the upper portion of the impact loop absorbs contact with a ground surface to lessen the impact imparted to the electrical receptacle block.

Abstract: A multi-tiered work arrangement includes stacked horizontal planar surfaces that have footprints that enable stacking of the planar surfaces to provide work surfaces that are easily accessible to a user in both a sitting and a standing position. A first work surface can have a wide end and a narrow end, and a second work surface can have corresponding narrow and wide ends. The wide end of the first planar surface is substantially equivalent in length to the narrow end of the second planar surface such that the work surfaces can be stacked in use, providing two unobstructed work surfaces at different heights.
