    Abstract: A method for operating electronic apparatus with independent power sources and having a functional circuit and a force and touch sensing circuit, the functional circuit and the force and touch sensing circuit are respectively powered by a first power source and a second power source different with the first power source. The method comprises (a) connecting the first power source and the second power source to different grounds; (b) the force and touch sensing circuit applying a capacitive sensing excitation signal to a force sensing electrode or a touch sensing electrode; and (c) the force and touch sensing circuit detecting a sensing signal from the force sensing electrode or the touch sensing electrode. In above step (b) or (c), the first power source and the second power source have no common current loop therebetween.

    Abstract: An in-cell touch display device includes: a lower substrate a thin film transistor layer, a common electrode layer, an electrode integration layer and a display material layer. The thin film transistor layer is arranged on the lower substrate, and includes a plurality of thin film transistors. The common electrode layer is arranged on the thin film transistor layer, and includes a plurality of common electrodes connected to each other. The electrode integration layer is arranged on the common electrode layer, and includes a plurality of pixel electrodes and a plurality of touch sense electrodes each corresponding to a group of the pixel electrodes. Each touch sense electrode is formed by a plurality of transparent mesh-like touch electrodes surrounding the corresponding pixel electrodes. The display material layer is arranged on the electrode integration layer, and includes a display material.

    Abstract: A fingerprint identification apparatus includes a fingerprint identification IC chip having a contact face and a plurality of metal bumps arranged on the contact face, a thin substrate having a first face, a second face opposite to the first face and a plurality of metal pads arranged on the first face, wherein at least part of the metal pads electrically connect with the metal bumps, a protection layer having a mounting face adjacent to the second face of the thin substrate, and a plurality of conductive electrodes arranged between the thin substrate and the protection layer. The metal bumps are not directly pressed or press-soldered to the protection layer, thus preventing the transparent conductive traces of the protection layer from damaging and enhancing the package yield.

    Abstract: A mutual-capacitance touch apparatus and highly sensitive mutual-capacitance touch sensing method thereof, the method includes: providing a touch apparatus including: a plurality of first touch electrodes and a plurality of second touch electrodes, a touch controller including a touch driving signal generator, a touch receiver, and an amplifier with gain larger than zero. The touch controller sequentially or randomly applies a touch driving signal to a selected first touch electrode, and senses a touch sensing signal at a second touch electrode by the touch receiver, and processes the touch sensing signal by the amplifier with gain larger than zero, then outputs the processed touch sensing signal to at least a conductor close to the second touch electrode.

    Abstract: A force-touch sensor with multilayered electrodes includes an upper substrate, a first electrode layer arranged on one face of the upper substrate and having a plurality of first sensing electrodes, a second electrode layer arranged opposite to the first electrode layer and having a plurality of second sensing electrodes, each second sensing electrode being electrically connected with one corresponding first sensing electrode to constitute a touch-sensing electrode, a plurality of touching sensing traces, each electrically connected with one touch-sensing electrode and electrically isolated with other touch-sensing electrodes, a resilient dielectric layer arranged on one face of the second electrode layer and opposite to the upper substrate, and a third electrode layer arranged on the resilient dielectric layer and having at least one force-sensing electrode.     Abstract: An integral sensing apparatus for touch and pressure includes an upper substrate having a first electrode layer with a plurality of first sensing electrodes, a second electrode layer having at least one second sensing electrode, a dielectric layer arranged between the first and the second electrode layers, and a capacitance sensing circuit. In touch sensing operation, the capacitance sensing circuit sends a first capacitance-exciting signal to a selected first sensing electrode and obtains a touch sensing signal from the selected first sensing electrode, wherein an auxiliary signal with same phase as the first capacitance-exciting signal is sent to at least one corresponding second sensing electrode. In pressure sensing operation, the capacitance sensing circuit sends a second capacitance-exciting signal to the corresponding second sensing electrode and obtains a pressure sensing signal from the second sensing electrode, wherein a counter exciting signal is also sent to the selected first sensing electrode.

    Abstract: In an in-cell touch display panel, a TFT layer includes plural thin film transistors, plural data lines and plural scan lines. A common voltage electrode layer includes plural common voltage electrodes capable of being switched to serve as touch sensing electrodes, each touch sensing electrode including a common voltage electrode. A metal mesh shielding layer is disposed between the TFT layer and the common voltage electrode layer. The metal mesh shielding layer includes plural metal lines arranged in rows and columns. The metal lines are disposed at locations corresponding to those of the data lines and scan lines, and are formed into a shielding area and plural touch electrode traces. In the shielding area, the metal mesh lines are electrically connected together, and each touch electrode trace is connected to a touch sensing electrode, while the shielding area is not electrically connected to the touch electrode traces.
