摘要： A compression stage for the compression of cracked gas, the compression stage comprising a liquid separating means for separating liquid components from gaseous components of a cracked gas, a compressor connected to the liquid separating means, a gas cooling means connected to the compressor for cooling the compressed gas from the compressor, wherein the gas cooling means are cooled by a first cooling fluid from the cooling fluid source. The stage further comprises gas precooling means connected to the liquid separating means cracked gas, having an inlet for receiving the cracked gas.

摘要： A separation system for separating a feed stream comprising propylene and propane and a method for separating such feed stream. The separation system includes a distillation column for producing a light stream comprising propylene and a heavy stream comprising propane; a reboiler for reboiling a part of the first heavy stream to produce a boiled heavy stream; a condenser for cooling the light stream to produce a condensed light stream; and an absorption refrigerator for receiving water and providing chilled water, for receiving hot water from a waste heat source and providing a cooled hot water and for receiving cooling water and providing a heated cooling water. The absorption refrigerator is arranged such that the cooling of the water and the hot water occurs by the cooling water. The condenser is arranged such that the cooling of the light stream occurs by the chilled water from the absorption refrigerator.

摘要： A method of controlling the supply and allocation of hydrogen gas in a hydrogen system of a refinery integrated with olefins and aromatics plants to convert crude oil into petrochemicals. The method includes one or more supply sources that provide hydrogen at individual rates, purities, pressures and costs, multiple consumption sites that consume hydrogen at individual rates, purities and pressures and an interconnecting hydrogen distribution network. The method further includes the integration of hydrogen consuming process units with hydrogen producing process units in which hydrogen recovered from the effluents from the hydrogen consuming process units and hydrogen recovered from the hydrogen producing process units are re-used in the hydrogen consuming process units.
