    Abstract: A display device includes: a base layer; a plurality of scan lines configured to sequentially receive scan signals, the plurality of scan lines being on the base layer; a plurality of pixels on the base layer and connected to each of the plurality of scan lines; a plurality of sensing control lines configured to simultaneously receive sensing control signals, the sensing control lines being on the base layer; and a plurality of sensors on the base layer and connected to respective ones of the sensing control lines, wherein the scan line and the sensing control line are on the same layer.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel including a pixel, a gate driver providing a gate signal to the pixel, a data driver providing a data voltage to the pixel and an emission driver providing an emission signal to the pixel. The pixel includes a driving switching element applying a driving current to the light emitting element, a storage capacitor connected to the driving switching element, a bias capacitor connected to the storage capacitor and receiving a bias gate signal, a threshold voltage compensation switching element connected to an electrode of the driving switching element and a light emitting element initialization switching element connected to an electrode of the light emitting element. A control signal applied to an electrode of the threshold voltage compensation switching element and a control signal applied to an electrode of the light emitting element initialization switching element are generated from different signal generators.

    Abstract: A display device in which an active area and a peripheral area adjacent to the active area are defined includes a base layer, a circuit layer disposed on the base layer, and an element layer disposed on the circuit layer and including a light emitting element and a light receiving element.
