Electronic device includes, as a foldable housing, a first antenna disposed on a first lateral member, a second antenna disposed on the first lateral member so as to transmit/receive signals in a second frequency band different from a first frequency band, a third antenna disposed on a second lateral member so as to transmit/receive signals in the first frequency band, a fourth antenna disposed on the second lateral member so as to transmit/receive signals in the second frequency band, a switch for electrically connecting first, second, third, and/or fourth antennas to a wireless circuit, a sensor for sensing an external object contacting or approaching the electronic device, and a processor. The processor selects an antenna to output signals according to the frequency band of signals transmitted, the status of the foldable housing, and/or a contact or approach of an external object, and connects the wireless circuit and the selected antenna.

According to various embodiments, an electronic device may comprise: a housing comprising a front plate, a rear plate facing in the opposite direction to the front plate, and a side surface member surrounding the space between the front plate and the rear plate, the side surface member comprising a first side surface extending in a first direction and having a first length, a second side surface extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and having a second length larger than the first length, a third side surface extending in parallel with the first side surface and having the first length, and a fourth side surface extending in parallel with the second side surface and having the second length; a display arranged between the front plate and the rear plate, at least a partial area of the display being exposed through the front plate, the display comprising a conductive plate; a printed circuit board arranged between the display and the rear plate, the printed circuit hoard comprising at least one conductive layer, the conductive plate and the conductive layer being electrically connected to each other; a first conductive pattern arranged between the printed circuit board and the rear plate; a second conductive pattern arranged between the printed circuit board and the front plate and, when seen from above the front plate, between the first side surface of the side surface member and the conductive plate; and a wireless communication circuit electrically connected to the first conductive pattern and the second conductive pattern and configured to transmit and/or receive a signal having a designated frequency. A method and an apparatus for recognizing a three-dimension object using a light source are provided. The method of recognizing a three-dimension object of a terminal including a display unit for displaying an operation state of the terminal and a shoot unit for receiving an image includes receiving a first image by setting a first brightness as a brightness of the display unit, receiving a second image by setting a second brightness as the brightness of the display unit, and recognizing the three-dimension object based on brightness change of a preset part by comparing the second image with the first image. The apparatus and the method for recognizing a three-dimension object prevent a security function from being incapacitated using a two-dimension photograph.
