Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure relates to a method of controlling notification information based on a user's movement in a virtual reality environment. The method comprises displaying a virtual reality (VR) content execution screen; displaying a notification icon on at least a portion of the VR content execution screen when a notification is received; determining that a position of a user's sight line reaches a position at which the notification icon is displayed; and displaying notification information corresponding to the notification icon on the VR content execution screen.
