Abstract: A display device having a screen and a touch panel, and methods of enabling a user to edit content displayed on the screen using the touch panel, are described. In one aspect, a method of editing content in a display device having a touch panel installed in a screen includes displaying target content on the screen, displaying a guide on top of the target content in response to a trigger gesture by a touch input means on the target content, zooming the guide in response to a zooming gesture by the touch input means on the guide, and terminating the display of the zoomed guide and displaying the target content at the same magnification with the zoomed guide, in response to a release of contact of the touch input means on the guide.
