Abstract:
A method for preventing a malicious code in an electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure includes: converting a suspicious operation code to a logging operation code, executing the converted logging operation code, and displaying predictive operation information to a display unit related to the logging operation code according to the result of execution.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic device comprising a communication circuit, a memory, and a processor. The processor may be set to obtain an omnidirectional image, identify at least one face in the omnidirectional image, obtain at least one gaze direction from the at least one face, and generate at least one region of interest of the omnidirectional image on the basis of the at least one gaze direction. Also, various other embodiments specified throughout the present specification may also be possible.
Abstract:
A portable device which simultaneously executes a plurality of applications by using a multi-screen and a method of operating a multi-application thereof. The method involves receiving an input according to a user selection of a multi-application icon for executing a plurality of applications in respective windows simultaneously. Based on the selected multi-application icon, the applications and respective windows are identified. Execution images respectively associated with the applications are then displayed on the windows simultaneously.

Abstract:
An electronic device and method are disclosed, including a communication circuit, a speaker, a microphone and a processor. The processor implements the method, including receiving a first voice input through the microphone, executing first voiceprint authentication on the first voice input including determining whether the first voice input matches voice information corresponding to a user stored in the electronic device, when the first voice input does not match the voice information, transmit a request message to at least one external electronic device for execution of a second voiceprint authentication, receive a response message indicating whether the first voice input is authenticated under the second voiceprint authentication, receive a second voice input through the microphone, and transmit second data related to the second voice input to an external server through the communication circuit for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) or Natural Language Understanding (NLU) on the second data.
Abstract:
An item selection method and an item selection apparatus of a portable terminal are provided. The item selection method in the portable terminal includes displaying one or more items in an arrangement according to a prescribed rule; receiving a start item setting input that sets a first item as a start item; receiving an end item setting input that sets a second item as an end item; and setting items included between the first item and the second item as selected items.
Abstract:
A method for supporting change of the authentication means for secure booting with the change of the trust root (root of trust) of the readymade electronic device and the electronic device therefor is provided. The secure boot generation method of an electronic device of the present disclosure includes storing plural initial certificates including a first initial certificate and a second initial certificate, designating the first initial certificate as a root certificate for secure booting of the electronic device, and switching the initial certificate from the first initial certificate to the second initial certificate in response to a request. Various other embodiments are possible.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for displaying information required to be secured in a wireless communication terminal are provided. The method includes recognizing generation of notification information of one or more processes activated in a first operation mode among a plurality of operation modes including the first operation mode and a second operation mode; and notifying a user of a part of the notification information when a current operation mode is the second operation mode.
Abstract:
An electronic device including a display, a memory, and a processor operatively connected to the display and the memory. The processor may be configured to: display a partial image, corresponding to a view area to be watched, in an omnidirectional image stored in the memory, on the display; select a display attribute on the basis of the distance between the view area and an area of interest in the omnidirectional image; and display additional information associated with the area of interest, on the display on the basis of the selected display attribute. Various other embodiments found through the specification are also possible.
