Abstract: The present invention provides a negative electrode for a lithium metal battery and a lithium metal battery comprising the same, the negative electrode comprising: a first negative electrode including a lithium metal negative electrode; and a second negative electrode which is disposed on the first negative electrode and includes a coating layer including a carbon-based material. By using the negative electrode for a lithium metal battery, a lithium metal battery can have an improved charge and discharge efficiency and life time.
