    摘要: An electrophotographic photoreceptor and an electrophotographic imaging apparatus employing the photoreceptor are disclosed. The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes an electrically conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer formed on the electrically conductive substrate, wherein a latent image is formed on the photosensitive layer using a blue-violet exposure light source having a wavelength of 380 to 450 nm. The outer surface of the photosensitive layer includes a charge generating material, a charge transporting material, and a binder resin. The light transmittance of the photosensitive layer is 1.0×10−1 to 1.0×10−3 in the light exposure wavelength. The electrophotographic photoreceptor can provide high quality images with high resolution using the blue-violet exposure light source.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes an electron transporting material in a charge-generating layer. The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate; a charge generating layer formed on the conductive substrate and includes a charge generating material and electron transporting material; and a charge transporting layer formed on the charge generating layer and includes a charge transporting material, wherein the electron transporting material is a phenylazomethylene-cyclohexadienone derivative represented by the following Formula I: wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C20 alkoxy, substituted or unsubstituted C6-C30 aryl, substituted or unsubstituted C7-C30 aralkyl and a halogen; A is selected from the group consisting of nitro, cyano and sulfone; 1 is an integer between 1 and 4; m is 0 or an integer between 1 and 4; and n is an integer between 1 and 5. The electrophotographic photoreceptor shows high sensitivity and low exposure potential.

These compounds can be used an electron transferring material of an undercoating layer or a photoconductive layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor. The electron transferring material of the invention produces an electrophotographic photoreceptor having improved electrical characteristics.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photoreceptor containing a naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative of Formula (1), which has a branched alkyl group substituted with an aryl group at the α-position with regard to nitrogen atoms of imide groups: wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a C1-C20 substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, and a C1-C20 substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group; R3 is selected from the group consisting of a C1-C20 substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a C1-C20 substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a C7-C30 substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, and a group having the formula —(CH2)n—Y—R4; Ar is a C6-C30 substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; Y is an oxygen or sulfur atom; R4 is a hydrogen atom or a C1-C20 substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; and n is an integer between 1 and 12. The naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative has high solubility in organic solvents and compatibility with binder resins, thus providing better electron transporting ability. The invention is also directed to an electrophotographic imaging apparatus using the photoreceptor.
