摘要: An object of the present invention is to make it possible that: a high-concentration hydrogel sheet, which is suitable for production of high-performance water-absorbent resin particles, is cut efficiently without involving the adhesion to such as cutting-blades; and the subsequent disintegration operation is also successfully carried out; and hydrogel particles excellent in the quality and performances are efficiently produced. As a means of achieving this object, the process according to the present invention for production of hydrogel particles is a process for production of the hydrogel particles 14 from a high-concentration hydrogel sheet 10 and comprises: a step (a) of cutting a continuous sheet 10 of a crosslinked high-concentration hydrogel polymer of 50 to 80 weight % in solid component concentration every 10 to 100 cm lengthwise of the continuous sheet 10 while running it lengthwise, thereby obtaining cut pieces 12; and a step (b) of continuously supplying the cut pieces 12 (obtained from the step (a)) to a continuous disintegrator 40 to continuously carry out disintegration and discharge under conditions where the supply amount of the cut pieces 12 and the disintegrating and discharging abilities of the continuous disintegrator 40 satisfy (supply amount)≦(disintegrating and discharging abilities), thereby obtaining the hydrogel particles 14.

摘要: A liquid absorbing sheet has a liquid-absorbing resin layer that can effectively absorb the nonaqueous electrolyte solution used in nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cells that make nonaqueous electrolyte battery packs (in particular, lithium ion-based nonaqueous secondary battery packs). The liquid-absorbing resin layer is obtained by irradiating a particular monomer composition with UV rays or other energy rays to polymerize the monomer composition. The monomer composition contains a monofunctional monomer component (A) having a polyethylene glycol acrylate monomer and an amide bond-containing acrylic monomer; and a polyfunctional monomer component (B).

摘要: In a gas humidifier used for humidifying fuel in a molten carbonate fuel cell (MCFC), a small-size gas humidifier is achieved by carrying out a steam-generating process and a gas humidifying process by the use of the steam by using a single unit. In order to achieve this structure, a plurality of longitudinal tube plates are laminated in a thickness direction with predetermined intervals so that a heat-exchanger core (100) of a plate-fin type is prepared. Heating-use high-temperature fluid (A) is allowed to flow alternately through a plurality of spaces that are formed inside the heat-exchanger core (100) and placed side by side in the horizontal direction so as to direct a gas to be humidified (B) to another space from above to below. An injection tube (210), which is used for spraying liquid (C) that serves as a steam source, is inserted virtually horizontally along tube plates on two sides in an upper portion of each space through which the gas to be humidified (B) flows. A header pipe (220), which is used for supplying the liquid (C) to the injection tube (210), is connected to the injection tube (210) at a place apart from the heat-exchanger core (100). One portion of the gas to be humidified (B) that has been introduced into the heat-exchanger core (100) is allowed to flow outside the heat-exchanger core (100) and to contact the header pipe (220) placed outside thereof.

摘要: The present invention provides such a production process that a low-cost water-absorbent resin having excellent quality can be obtained by reasonable steps in aqueous solution polymerization. The production process for a water-absorbent resin comprises a polymerization setup that includes the steps of: supplying an aqueous solution of a water-soluble unsaturated monomer component including a major proportion of acrylic acid and/or its salt into a polymerization vessel causing shearing action; and then carrying out polymerization, involving crosslinking, of the water-soluble unsaturated monomer and at the same time carrying out fine division of the resultant hydrogel; with the production process being characterized in that the aqueous solution of the water-soluble unsaturated monomer component as supplied into the polymerization vessel has a temperature of not lower than 40° C.

摘要: A coil winding and inserting machine suitable for winding stator coils of 3-phase multipolar motors. The machine has a plurality of independently liftable tooling blades and auxiliary plates. Three winding forms are formed simultaneously or in a predetermined sequence, each being constituted by two tooling blades and one selectively lifted auxiliary plate. Three flyers corresponding to the three winding forms are rotated around these winding forms to form coils of the first pole of respective phases. Then, the flyers make a 180.degree. indexing rotation and coils of the second pole are formed in the same manner as the coils of the first pole. After the winding of all coils, the coils are inserted into the stator core together with the wedges. Accordingly, it is possible to form the coils of u, v and w phases without cutting wires between two poles of respective phases, while ensuring an equal circumferential length of coils of all phases.
