A filter comprises a receptacle including a positive terminal pin, a negative terminal pin and a ground terminal pin; a filter box installed at one side of the receptacle; the filter box being installed with electric elements; a filter cover serving to seal theses electric elements within the filter box; a ground terminal pin being installed at another side of the filter box; the electric elements and grounding terminal being connected to the positive terminal pin, negative terminal pin and ground terminal pin so as to form a filtering circuit; a positive electrode of the filtering circuit being welded with a positive conductive wire and a negative conductive wire; a metal casing having a receiving groove for being engaged to the filter box and the receptacle; and an isolating cover being engaged to the metal casing; thereby the teeth piercing into a periphery of the isolating cover.

A method of simulating short depth of field for a digital camera is disclosed. The method includes steps of detecting an object distance corresponding to a focus pixel, generating an original image according to the focus distance, and blurring a plurality of pixels of the original image to different extents according to a plurality of contrast values of the plurality of pixels, to generate an image with short depth of field.
Abstract:
A face detection apparatus and a face detection method thereof are provided. The face detection apparatus includes a rectangle integral image unit, a feature mapping unit and a cascade and score unit. The rectangle integral image unit provides a rectangle integral image according to an original image. The feature mapping unit determines a face candidate region according to rectangular face feature templates, and calculates feature values of the rectangular face feature templates according to the rectangle integral image. The cascade and score unit judges whether the face candidate region conforms to cascade conditions or not, and gives the face candidate region a score according to the feature values when the face candidate region conforms to the cascade conditions. The face candidate region is a non-face region if the score of the face candidate region is lower than a threshold value.

An apparatus for sorting a raw data with horizontal division is provided. The apparatus includes a frame memory and a frame data sorting device coupled to the frame memory. The frame memory stores a frame data having m vertical fields, and each of the vertical fields has n horizontal fields. The frame data sorting device sorts at least one first data block having Vstripe rows of the frame data according to the value n to generate a sorted first data block and overwrites the first data block with the sorted first data block. The frame data sorting device also sorts at least one second data block having Hstripe columns of the frame data according to the value m to generate a sorted second data block and overwrites the second data block with the sorted second data block.

A determination method for white-point and a correction method of the white balance are disclosed. In the determination method for white-point of the white balance, first gray cards with different reflection coefficients are detected according to the properties of an image sensing device. Next, the white-point gray line of a first color temperature and the white-point gray line of a second color temperature are intersected on a white-point plane to form a fan area, so as to set the white-point range of the low saturation of the image sensing device. Next, the vertical projection for an image datum is calculated to obtain a placement datum on the white-point plane, and a difference value between the image datum and the placement datum is calculated. Finally, whether the image datum is a white-point is determined according to the difference value and relationship between the placement datum and the fan area.

A method of recording and playing video at an optimized resolution is disclosed. By automatic detection of the resolutions of a display device and an original video, the method determines an optimized resolution for recording and playing video. By this method can satisfy the highest playing requirements of the display device and therefore provide the highest video playing quality to the user. When recording video, the method simultaneously records stream files of the standard resolution and the maximum resolution in different streams. When playing the video, the method also selects the most appropriate stream file according to the resolution data and plays it.

A facial expression recognition apparatus and a facial expression recognition method thereof are provided. The facial expression recognition apparatus comprises a gray image generating unit, a face edge detection unit, a motion skin extraction unit, a face contour generating unit and a facial expression recognition unit. The gray image generating unit generates a gray image according to an original image. The face edge detection unit outputs a face edge detection result according to the gray image. The motion skin extraction unit generates a motion skin extraction result according to the original image, and generates a face and background division result according to the motion skin extraction result. The face contour generating unit outputs a face contour according to the gray image, the face edge detection result and the face and background division result. The facial expression recognition unit outputs a facial expression recognition result according to the face contour.

An optimized audio/video recording and playing system and method executed on the computer executable platform, which is capable of optimally recording various stream files into a recording medium during the recording process based on optimized image resolution, sound sampling rate, the display settings of the display device and the sound settings of the acoustic device. During the playing process, the disclosed technology is capable of selecting the most appropriate stream file to play from the recording medium based on the system resources information, the display setting of the display device, and the sound setting of the acoustic device, so as to achieve the effect of optimized playing.
