摘要: Disclosed are methods for dual-camera-based imaging, a mobile terminal. A first image shot by the wide-angle camera and a second image shot by the telephoto camera are acquired. The first image is cropped according to a target region of the first image to acquire a third image. Depth information of the third image is determined according to the third image and the second image. Blurring processing is performed on the third image according to the depth information, to obtain a fourth image.

摘要: A camera system captures images from a set of cameras to generate binocular panoramic views of an environment. The cameras are oriented in the camera system to maximize the minimum number of cameras viewing a set of randomized test points. To calibrate the system, matching features between images are identified and used to estimate three-dimensional points external to the camera system. Calibration parameters are modified to improve the three-dimensional point estimates. When images are captured, a pipeline generates a depth map for each camera using reprojected views from adjacent cameras and an image pyramid that includes individual pixel depth refinement and filtering between levels of the pyramid. The images may be used generate views of the environment from different perspectives (relative to the image capture location) by generating depth surfaces corresponding to the depth maps and blending the depth surfaces.

摘要: The present technique relates to an image processing apparatus and an image processing method capable of obtaining an obstacle-removed image in which an obstacle does not appear using disparity information. A removal section generates after-removal photographic images at a plurality of viewpoints by removing part of subjects from respective photographic images at the plurality of viewpoints using disparity information associated with the photographic images at the plurality of viewpoints. An image generation section generates an obstacle-removed image at a predetermined viewpoint by registering the after-removal photographic images at the plurality of viewpoints using the disparity information. The present technique is applicable to a case, for example, of generating an obstacle-removed image in which an obstacle does not appear using photographic images at a plurality of viewpoints.

摘要: To digitize an object, a camera captures images of different sides of the object with color and depth data. At least two different sides of the object are identified from the images, and constructions are created of the sides of the object from the images. Points of the constructions to connect to one another are determined and used to align the constructions. The construction are merged to generate a rendition of the object. Various techniques are applied to extrapolate edges, remove seams, extend color intelligently, filter noise, apply skeletal structure to the object, and optimize the digitization further. The rendition of the object can be provided for display as a digital representation of the object and potentially used in different applications (e.g., games, Web, etc.).

摘要: In one embodiment, a method for calculating a distance to an object includes projecting a plurality of beams simultaneously from a light source, wherein the plurality of beams causes a plurality of lines of dots to be projected onto the object, and wherein the plurality of lines of dots are orientated parallel to each other, capturing an image of a field of view, wherein the object is visible in the image and the plurality of lines of dots is also visible in the image, and calculating the distance to the object using information in the image.
