Abstract:
A power-assisted steering system includes a gear mechanism, coupled to a steering column, with a gear and a mating gear. The two transmission gears have teeth (4, 5) via which they engage with each other, movement and power being transmitted from one gear to the other gear via effective profiles of their tooth faces (11, 12). In order to provide a gear mechanism that has an enhanced load-bearing capacity and at the same time can be manufactured in a simple and economical way, the effective profiles of the tooth faces (11, 12) of the gear and the mating gear contact over the height (h4, h5) of the teeth (4, 5).
Abstract:
A motor-vehicle gear arrangement for a power-assist gearing in a motor vehicle, that includes a gear, a flange arrangement including at least one flange, wherein the gear is located adjacent to the flange in the flange arrangement so as to rotate about a common axis, and at least one connecting element to connect the gear to the at least one flange. This gear arrangement, or a flange for this gear arrangement, is advantageous due to the fact that the ribs are formed on the flange laterally within a plane perpendicularly to the rotational axis so as to reinforce the flange.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a gear composed of an injection-molded material, comprising an internal gate region and an external toothed ring with teeth, wherein each tooth has an external tooth crest and two lateral tooth base segments, at least one locating hole for a driver element engaging from the side, and a weld line of the injection-molded material, wherein the weld line runs from an external wall of the locating hole to the outer circumference of the gear, wherein the weld line runs through the tooth crest of one of the teeth to the outer peripheral surface of the tooth. In addition, an injection-molding method is proposed for the injection molding of such a gear. Due to the path of the weld line through the gear body to the periphery of the tooth, tensile stresses are distributed along a greater distance than is the case in a conventional gear.
Abstract:
Gearwheel and method for manufacturing a gearwheel The invention concerns a gearwheel (1) with an external part (2), an insert (3), and a connecting part (4) for creating a form-fitting connection between the external part (2) and the insert (3), wherein the connecting part (4) is made from a material molded between the external part (2) and the insert (3). According to the method, the invention concerns a method for manufacturing a gearwheel (1), in which an external part (2) and an insert (3) are form-fittingly connected to a connecting part (4), wherein the minimum of one such connecting part (4) is molded between the external part (2) and the insert (3).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a gearwheel (1) with a gear rim (2) and an insert (3) whose external diameter (d3) is greater than half of the external diameter (d1) of the gearwheel (1), wherein the insert (3) is surrounded by injection molding by means of a cone mold during the manufacture of the gearwheel. In particular, the gear rim (2), including gear teeth on the external circumference, is formed at the same time during the injection molding process.
