Abstract: A driving mechanism for driving an optical element is provided, including a holder unit, a base unit, and a magnetic element. The holder unit is used to hold the optical element, and the base unit includes a metal substrate and a circuit structure formed on the metal substrate, wherein the circuit structure includes a driving coil. The magnetic element is disposed on the holder unit and corresponds to the driving coil for driving the optical element to move relative to the base unit.

Abstract: An optical system includes an optical module with a main axis is provided. The optical module includes a fixed portion, a movable portion, and a driving mechanism. The movable portion is connected to an optical element and is movable relative to the fixed portion. The driving mechanism drives the movable portion to move relative to the fixed portion. When viewed along a direction that is parallel with the main axis, the fixed portion is a polygonal structure with a first side, a second side, a third side, and a fourth side. The first side is parallel with the third side, the second side is parallel with the fourth side, and the first side is not parallel with the second side.

Abstract: A lens driving module is provided, configured to drive an optical element, including a holder, a circuit board assembly, a base module, and a magnetic element. The base module has a metal substrate, an insulating layer, a circuit layer electrically connected with the driving coil, and a protective layer. The protective layer has a protruding portion extending over the opening and covers the bridging portion. The position-sensing portion includes a position-sensing element, and the position-sensing element is configured to sense the position of the movable portion relative to the fixed portion. The circuit board is electrically connected to the position-sensing component, and the position-sensing element is disposed on the circuit board; wherein the circuit board is disposed on the first side, and the external electrical connection portion is disposed on the second side.
