摘要: A method and a wireless device are provided for handling handover in a wireless network from a source cell to a target cell when the device has obtained and stored a handover configuration for at least one target cell X. Upon detecting a communication failure, the wireless device performs cell selection and initiates handover to one of the target cell(s) X when that cell was selected, by applying the stored handover configuration of the selected cell. When none of the target cell(s) X was selected in the cell selection, the wireless device initiates an RRC re-establishment procedure.

摘要: A UE and a method for resuming a radio connection in a communications network comprising a first RAT and a different second RAT. The UE operates in a first cell served by the first RAT. When a connection with the first cell is suspended, the UE performs a re-selection to a second cell served by the second RAT, and triggers RRC resume in the second cell. The UE receives a first set of parameters associated with the first cell, which first set comprises at least one parameter identifying the UE or the first cell. Further, the UE receives a second set of parameters associated with the second cell, which second set comprises at least one parameter identifying the UE or the second cell. The UE determines a security token based on the first and second sets, and transmits the security token to the second cell.

摘要: A method for a handover procedure comprises establishing a connection with a source network node of a first core network; receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message including an information element, wherein the information element indicates a second core network associated with a target network node; applying security parameters based on the second core network indicated in the information element; and performing a handover toward the target network node using the applied security parameters. The method provides an indication in RRC connection reconfiguration procedure to indicate the UE the core network of the target network node, so that the UE may recognize that this is an inter-system handover and apply corresponding security parameters for performing the handover without additional signaling.
