Abstract: The invention provides a measuring instrument, which comprises an image pickup unit for acquiring an image of a range including an object to be measured, a distance measuring unit for two-dimensionally scanning a predetermined range in synchronization with an image acquisition and for measuring, an arithmetic control unit and an attitude detecting unit for detecting a tilt angle of the image pickup unit with respect to a horizontality, wherein the arithmetic control unit associates a measurement result and a detection result of the attitude detecting unit with each pixel on a scanning locus corresponding to an acquired image.

Abstract: A surveying instrument comprises a distance measuring unit configured to measure a distance to an object to be measured, an optical axis deflector configured to deflect a distance measuring light, a measuring direction image pickup module configured to acquires an observation image and an arithmetic control module, wherein the arithmetic control module is configured to continuously cut out sighting images around a tracking point set in the observation image, to set a first cutout sighting image as a reference sighting image, to calculate a movement amount of the sighting image with respect to the reference sighting image by an image matching of the reference sighting image and the sighting image and to control the optical axis deflector based on a calculation result in such a manner that the tracking point is positioned at a center of the sighting image.

Abstract: A surveying instrument comprises a monopod installed at a reference point, a surveying instrument main body provided at the monopod and having an attitude detector, wherein the surveying instrument main body carries out an image pickup and a scanning of an object to be measured at a pre-movement and a post-movement respectively, obtains at least three cross points of a locus of a scan pattern of the pre-movement and the post-movement, and calculates three-dimensional coordinates of an installation point of the post-movement based on three-dimensional coordinates of the cross points measured from the reference point, a measurement result of the cross points measured from the installation point of the post-movement and a detection result of the attitude detector.
