Abstract: A pet hair removal apparatus has a plurality of engagement members. The apparatus has a handle and connected base member. On the base member is one or more engagement members, such as lugs, protrusions or frustums. On the lower surface of one of the engagement members is one or more striations, ribs, squeegees or ridges. The striations, ribs, squeegees or ridges operate in an operational engagement position to remove pet hair from the surface of an inanimate object, such as a couch or other fabric. This operational engagement position for the striations, ribs, squeegees or ridges is one of a number of other operational engagement positions for the pet hair removal apparatus.

Abstract: A pet hair removal apparatus has a plurality of engagement members. The apparatus has a handle and connected base member. At the end of the handle is a pointed end defined by a pointed tip. Abstract: A pet treat toy in the shape of a dumbbell including a spherical or cylindrical body portion flanked by disc-shaped first and second enlarged members. The enlarged members are of a greater diameter than the body portion; consequently, the enlarged members keep the body portion a distance off the ground. Each enlarged member includes a concave surface with an outermost edge that contacts the ground if the toy is upended. An opening defined in one of the body portion and concave surface is in communication with the body portion's interior cavity. Treats loaded into the cavity through the opening are kept from contacting the ground because the opening is maintained a distance off the ground by the larger diameter enlarged members or because the opening is recessed relative to the outermost edge of the enlarged member's concave surface that defines the opening.

Abstract: A feeding device including a base with at least one leg extending downwardly from the base to support the base above a surface; a feeding chamber defined in the base; and a plurality of obstructions extending upwardly into the feeding chamber. A removable liner may be nestingly engaged with the base. The liner may include a second feeding chamber and the plurality of obstructions extending upwardly into the second feeding chamber. The method of feeding an animal may include arranging pieces of food within a feeding chamber according to a random distribution pattern; placing the feeding chamber within reach of an animal to be fed; and obstructing the animal from simultaneously locating all pieces of food within the feeding chamber while feeding using obstructions arranged in a pattern.

Abstract: A pet scoop assembly and method of use is provided. The assembly includes a scoop member; a receptacle detachably engageable with the scoop member; and a door disposed intermediate the two. A disposable bag may line the receptacle and be clamped in place between the receptacle and scoop member. The door opens inwardly into the receptacle. When the scoop assembly is turned into a vertical orientation, the door opens by a weighted member attached to the door. A region of the scoop member adjacent the door is angled to allow pet waste to slide readily from the scoop member into the receptacle.
