摘要： A motor speed control method and system allow the motor to be accelerated to the steady state in the minimum time even under conditions of varying load torque, varying load inertia and varying power voltage. The motor is controlled by a voltage including a component of proportional term which is a function of a difference between a command speed and a detected speed, and a component of integral term which is summed during an acceleration phase. The acceleration of the motor during the starting process is measured and the integral term is modified basing on the result. The integral term may be memorized so that it is used as the integral term when the subsequent starting phase is completed. The integral term may be obtained from the acceleration and deceleration in the starting process.

摘要： A linear actuator for e.g. a disk drive has a fixed member and a movable member. One of those members carries at least one track of permanent magnets extending in the direction in which the movable member is to move, with adjacent permanent magnets having alternate magnetic polarity. The other member has first and second drive parts, each having at least one pair of opposing sets of teeth. The moveable member or each track passes between those teeth. Each pair of teeth is associated with a corresponding drive coil giving the teeth a magnetic polarity so that there is a magnetic alignment between a polarity of the teeth and the permanent magnets. The drive parts are arranged so that, for any given relative position of the first and second members, the magnetic alignment of the teeth of one drive part is out of phase with the magnetic alignment of the teeth of the other part. In order to ensure that the magnetic alignments are out of phase, there may be a physical displacement between the teeth of the two drive parts. This displacement may be (m.+-.1/2).multidot.T.sub.p, where m is an integer and T.sub.p is the teeth pitch. This gives a phase displacement of 180.degree.. Alternatively, the drive parts may be aligned, and two tracks of permanent magnets be provided with the magnets thereof having opposite polarity for a given track position, or the drive current to the drive coils may be controlled to be out of phase.

摘要： In order to provide a speed control apparatus for a movable equipment having small torque ripples and speed variation, the present invention has a speed control means which comprises a driver for providing a current or a voltage having a magnitude corresponding to the instructed speed, a speed detection circuit for detecting a speed on the basis of a signal from the speed detector and a microcomputer for driving the driver by comparing the speed instruction signal with a speed signal obtained from the speed detection circuit. The microcomputer includes a harmonic wave component detecting means for detecting a harmonic wave component contained in a speed variation mode which is obtained from the speed detection circuit and has a function of making the gain of a speed control system variable by the harmonic wave component detected by the harmonic wave component detecting means.

摘要： Disclosed is a position detecting method and apparatus which are suitable for detecting the position of a moving body on the basis of the output of a position detector for generating two-phase periodic waves having a phase difference of a quarter period, the method comprising the steps of: comparing either one of the two-phase periodic waves with a predetermined reference value having hysteresis to thereby obtain a roughly estimated position for every half period of the one periodic wave; analog-to-digital converting the two-phase periodic waves and a zero-cross value for every sampling period to thereby obtain a finely estimated position; and detecting the position of the moving body on the basis of the roughly estimated position and the finely estimated position while correcting an error due to the hysteresis at the starting point of the roughly estimated position, by use of the relationship between the roughly estimated position and the finely estimated position. According to this method/apparatus, continuity between the roughly estimated position and the finely estimated position can be maintained, so that exact and high-resolution position detection can be performed.

摘要： An apparatus for driving a polyphase brushless motor with a resulting torque ripple effectively suppressed. The apparatus comprises a rotor position sensor, a controller responsive to the output of the sensor for generating a control signal and an inverter serving to conduct electric current to each phase of the motor as a result of commutation under control of the control signal from the controller. 摘要： A protection apparatus for an electric sewing machine having a drive mechanism for driving the sewing machine by a motor comprises a speed detecting means for detecting a rotational speed of a shaft of the sewing machine, comparator means for comparing a rotational speed signal of the shaft of the sewing machine from the speed detecting means with an externally applied speed command signal indicative of a predetermined rotational speed of the sewing machine to determine from the comparison result whether the sewing machine is in a fault state, and invalidation means for deactivating the drive mechanism when the fault state of the sewing machine is determined by the comparison means. The protection apparatus detects the rotation of the shaft of the sewing machine while an operation command for the sewing machine is being inputted to early-detect an overload condition of the sewing machine. When an overload condition is detected, the motor and hence the sewing machine is stopped to prevent the damage of the motor.

摘要： An apparatus for controlling an electric sewing machine has a mechanism for transmitting the driving torque of a motor to the sewing machine to drive the same, a mechanism for imparting braking power to the sewing machine to stop the same, a mechanism for stopping the needle of said sewing machine at desired positions in its stroke and controlling means adapted to control these mechanisms. At least a part of the controlling means is constituted by a microcomputer. The signal input to the microcomputer is provided in synchronization with a synchronizing clock signal, and only such input signals as required in respective periods of operation are checked in each of the periods, so that the checking of the input signals is facilitated and accidents due to erroneous operation are avoided.
