摘要： A safety belt device for use in vehicles, having at least one belt extending across the body of a passenger sitting on a seat, in which the belt is held in a disengaging position forwardly of the seat irrespective of the door opening and closing operation when the passenger is not sitting on the seat, providing for the passenger to get into the vehicle, and is placed in an engaging position when the passenger has sat down on the seat and closed the door, restraining the body of the passenger, and is retracted to the disengaging position when the passenger sitting on the seat has opened the door providing for alighting of the passenger from the vehicle.

摘要： The present invention provides an ink-jet recording medium for use in industrial ink-jet printers which offers good printability and storage stability for outdoor and indoor applications. The ink-jet recording medium comprises an ink-absorption layer that absorbs the largest amount of ink of all the layers that constitute an ink-receiving layer on at least one surface of the substrate is composed of a material comprising porous pigment, a fixer and a binder, in which the fixer is an amphoteric fixer containing a cationic component that is cationic and an anionic component that is anionic, in which the molar ratio of the cationic component to the anionic component contained in the fixer is in the range between 1:0.01 and 1:0.5, and in which the percentage of the fixer contained in the ink-absorption layer ranges from 1 to 30% by weight of the solid content of the ink-absorption layer. Printed matter obtained by ink-jet printing on the ink-jet recording medium of the present invention has excellent durability, such as long-term image quality, water resistance and heat resistance.

摘要： A material film for a mask film comprising a substrate film transmitting ultraviolet light and a resin layer not transmitting ultraviolet light disposed on one face of the substrate film, the resin layer having a color which can be eliminated by irradiation with laser beams, a transmittance of ultraviolet light of 0.1% or smaller, a thickness of 0.1-30 μm and an average surface roughness on a central line Ra of 0.1-3 μm and comprising carbon black having an average particle diameter of 20-50 nm and a specific surface area of 70-150 m2/g. The resin layer exhibits uniform transparency at portions the color of which is eliminated and suppresses formation of scratches. The mask film is easily positioned in preparation of great printing plates and good contact is easily attained throughout the entire surface suppressing containment of air between the mask film and the printing plate material.

摘要： A method and apparatus for press-cutting selected patterns in a workpiece. The apparatus includes a plurality of dies and at least one punch element associated with each die. A plurality of backing plates are provided to drive the punch elements against the workpiece when the backing plates are positioned in the operative position. A press-cutting pattern selector selectively positions the backing plates in the operative position or an inoperative position depending upon the pattern to be press-cut.
