Abstract:
The invention relates to an intermediary bushing to be inserted into the central receptacle of a chuck with a cylindrical body which has a central clamp hole in the form of a through hole, the body having several radial slots distributed along its outer circumference which extend over the whole axial length of the intermediary bushing, which is characterised in that the slots have a maximum width of 0.6 mm, and the outer contour, the slots and the clamp hole of the intermediary bushing are spark-eroded, and that over its whole length the body has a through slot extending from its outer circumference to the inner circumference with a maximum width of 0.6 mm. The invention further relates to a method for producing this type of intermediary bushing.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an expansion chucking device having: a base body (2); an expansion sleeve (4) provided at an axial end region of the base body (2), which sleeve forms a central receptacle (5) for a component to be chucked; and a chucking ring (6) that surrounds the expansion sleeve (4), forming an annular pressure chamber (7) located therebetween, and is thread-joined to the base body (2), the pressure chamber (7) being filled with a hydraulic medium (11) and the expansion sleeve (4) being capable of being elastically deformed in order to secure a component in the receptacle (5) by the fact that the chucking ring (6) is axially displaced by rotation with respect to the base body (2), with a reduction in the volume of the pressure chamber (7), wherein multiple slits (4b) are embodied in the expansion sleeve (4) which extend in the axial direction and are spaced apart from one another when viewed in the circumferential direction, the expansion sleeve (4) being sealed off with respect to the pressure chamber (7) in order to prevent any entry of hydraulic medium (11) into the slits (4a).
Abstract:
A method for creating a releasable joint between two components wherein one of the components is elastically deformed by radial compressive forces in such a way that one effective circumferential contour corresponds to the corresponding effective circumferential contour of the other component with a predefined clearance, and the two components are fitted together. After being fitted together, a compressive joint is created by the fact that the deformed component is elastically deformed back by reducing or discontinuing the radial compressive forces. What is used as the elastically deformable component is a hollow body which has multiple cavities in its wall, and the radial compressive forces are exerted on the inner or outer contour of the hollow body located opposite the effective circumferential contour in such a way that their working lines, considered in the circumferential direction, run approximately centeredly through the cavities.

Abstract:
An expansion chuck for simultaneously chucking a tool shaft and a hollow tool part such as a beveling bush. A solid chuck body which can be chucked in the working spindle of a machine tool has in its chucking part a central receptacle bore to receive the tool shaft to be chucked as well as an external chucking face to mount the hollow tool part. An elongated toroidal chamber is arranged coaxially with the receptacle bore and the outside chucking face in the interior of the chucking part of the chuck body and is filled with an incompressible medium. Due to a hydraulic internal pressure in the toroidal chamber, both of its peripheral walls undergo elastic deformation, radially inwardly to chuck the tool shaft, and radially outwardly to chuck the hollow tool part.
