摘要: A scintillator plate for radiation comprising a substrate having thereon a phosphor layer comprising CsI and two or more activators ach having a melting point different from a melting point of CsI, wherein each content of the two or more activators is 0.01% or more based on CsI; and the scintillator plate is produced by forming the phosphor layer on the substrate via a vacum evaporation method using a source material comprising CsI and two or more activators.

摘要: An ink-jet recording apparatus capable of high-quality recording without smudging recording media and the interior of the recording apparatus even when a frameless recording operation using reactive ink that coheres with each other when mixed together is performed. The ink-jet recording apparatus includes a recording head having a first nozzle array and a second nozzle array, and an ink absorbent facing the nozzle arrays. The first nozzle array discharges a first ink, and the second nozzle array discharges a second ink. The first and second ink is a reactive ink that coheres with each other when mixed together. During the frameless recording operation on a front edge of the recording medium, some of the first and second ink discharged from the respective nozzle arrays of the recording head adheres to the front edge, and some of the ink adheres to separate positions on the ink absorbent.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device having a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, a plurality of video signal lines and scanning signal lines formed on the first substrate, and defining pixel regions, a thin film transistor formed in the pixel regions, and driven by a scanning signal from the scanning signal line for supplying video signal from one of the video signal lines to a pixel electrode and a display area containing a plurality of the pixel regions. A first protection element line formed at a peripheral portion of the display area, and being connected to a odd-numbered ones of the video signal lines by first high-resistance elements, and a second protection element line formed at a peripheral portion of the display area, and being connected to even-numbered ones of the video signal lines by second high-resistance elements.

摘要: A pager includes a bar code reader, which reads from a function setting bar code list functional data to be set to a pager and which stores the data in the ROM. Since the function setting data is read from the bar code, the ROM writer is unnecessary when the user changes the function. The user need only prepare a function setting bar code list and is hence relieved from inconvenience to bring the pager to the service firm. In addition, the electrodes for the connection between the pager and the ROM writer and hence the seal covering the electrodes are unnecessary, which simplifies the structure of the pager.

摘要: A photoconductive target having a transparent electrode layer and a photoconductive layer on a transparent substrate is disposed opposite to a group of integrated electron beam emitters having gate electrodes. A number of the electron emitters are activated to apply electron beams to the photoconductive target and the activated ones of the electron beam emitters are temporally changed over by an electron emitter selector circuit and a gate selector circuit. Signal charge generated and stored in the photoconductive layer is read. A time-series electric signal corresponding to a spatial distribution of the incident light is generated. A thin imaging apparatus suitable for a larger area is thus provided.
