Abstract: Techniques described herein may be used to implement a 4G antenna in a wearable device (e.g., a watch) in a manner that optimizes the ability of the antenna to send and receive radio signals while minimizing the user's exposure to radio signals. The antenna may be raised above a base portion and a printed circuit board (PCB) of the wearable device to limit radio signals being absorbed by the user's body, in addition to providing a vertical space between conductive components (such as the PCB), metal nodes to which the PCB is attached, etc.) that might otherwise interfere with radio signals to and from the antenna. The antenna may also be split into two different portions (a first portion and a second portion) in order to limit radio signals from resonating in the antenna for longer than is beneficial.

Abstract: A device may include a processor configured to receive an indication from a subscriber management device that a user equipment (UE) device has attached to a second core network, wherein the device is in a core network associated with a Radio Access Network. The processor may be configured to subscribe with a second network exposure device in the second core network to receive telemetry information notifications for the UE device, in response to receiving the indication; receive a telemetry information notification for the UE device from the second network exposure device; and report telemetry information obtained from the received telemetry information notification to a server device associated with the UE device

Abstract: A network device identifies Internet of Things (IoT) devices in a wireless network in a service area; determines a reporting configuration for each of the IoT devices associated with an initiation of reporting instances via the wireless; identifies, based on the reporting configurations, a potential signal loading reduction over the wireless network and/or a potential power consumption reduction related to the reporting configuration associated with at least one of the IoT devices; and modifies the reporting configuration of the at least one IoT device to enable the potential signal loading reduction and/or the potential power consumption reduction.

Abstract: A network device identifies Internet of Things (IoT) devices present on a Long Term Evolution, category M1 (LTE Cat-M1) network in a service area with connectivity to a wireless station; determines a reporting configuration currently associated with each of the IoT devices, wherein each of the reporting configurations are based on a reporting requirement for an initiation of reporting instances via the LTE Cat-M1 network; performs an analysis of the reporting configurations to identify a potential signal loading reduction over the LTE Cat-M1 network and/or a potential power consumption reduction related to the reporting configuration associated with at least one of the IoT devices; modifies, based on the analysis, the reporting configuration of the at least one IoT device to enable the potential signal loading reduction and/or the potential power consumption reduction; and transmits, to the at least one IoT device, a message identifying the modified reporting configuration.
