    摘要: A high-strength martensitic stainless steel excellent in corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance, the composition of which comprises: under 0.03% carbon, 1% or less silicon, 2.3-7.0% manganese, 8-14% chromium, 0.005-0.2% aluminum, 0.005-0.15% nitrogen, and the balance of iron except incidental elements. The stainless steel can contain nickel, molybdenum, tungsten, copper, vanadium, titanium, niobium, zirconium, tanatalum, hafnium, calcium and rare earth elements under the fixed conditions in addition to the above elements. Heat treatment of the stainless steel comprises: the step of austenitizing at temperatures of 920.degree. C. to 1,100.degree. C., the step of cooling at a cooling rate equal to or higher than the air cooling rate, the step of tempering at temperatures between 580.degree. C. and A.sub.cl point, and the step of cooling at a cooling rate equal to or higher than the air cooling rate.

    摘要: A clad metal is produced by forming a layer of a dissimilar metal powder on the surface of a base metal by cold fixing the powder to the surface under pressure, densing only the surface and a subsurface area of the layer of the dissimilar metal powder by melting and immediately solidifying in a vacuum, compressing the layer of the dissimilar metal powder together with the base metal at a temperature not higher than the solidus-line temperature of the two dissimilar metals under a pressure of not lower than 300 kgf/cm.sup.2 (or 29.4 MPa) using a hot isostatic press, and hot working the layer of the dissimilar metal powder together with the base metal.

    摘要: Upon detecting an external signal which instructs to stop discharge, an input voltage equal to or less than a set value for the prevention of overdischarge, or an output voltage equal to or more than a set value for the prevention of output of an overvoltage, a control unit (12) stops discharge to a load (40) by opening a switching element (4b) of a step-down unit (11b). Upon detecting that an external signal is reset or an input voltage equal to or more than a set value larger than the set value for the prevention of overdischarge, the control unit (12) resumes discharge to the load (40) by setting the switching element (4b) in a switching operation state or short-circuiting it.

The aluminum content of the steel composition is reduced to not more than 0.005%, while from 0.006 to 0.2% in total of one or both of titanium and zirconium is used instead for steel containing 0.0005 to 0.008% Ca. The steel, apart from iron and unavoidable impurities further contains:0.01 to 0.35% C0.02 to 0.5% Si0.1 to 1.8% Mnnot more than 0.015% P, andnot more than 0.003% SCu, Ni, Cr, Mo, Nb and V may be added in appropriate amounts to enhance the steel performance.
