摘要: An electric vehicle includes an electric motor, an electrical storage device, an air-conditioning apparatus and a controller. A coolant circuit of the air-conditioning apparatus has a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve for cooling, and an evaporator. The evaporator has a heat storage member. In a case in which regenerative braking by the electric motor is performed when the state of charge of the electrical storage device is the predetermined value or more, the controller controls the air-conditioning apparatus such that a temperature of the evaporator is decreased so as to be lower than a temperature of the evaporator when a state of charge of the electrical storage device is less than a predetermined value.

摘要: A portable power supply assembly for power tool, the power supply operated on AC mains having a mains input comprises an AC-to-DC converter coupled between the mains input and a rechargeable battery unit, a DC-to-DC converter, wherein the rechargeable battery unit couples to an input of the DC-to-DC converter, a power inverter for converting direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC), a housing for enclosing the AC-to-DC converter, the rechargeable battery unit, the DC-to-DC converter and the power inverter, an AC outlet disposed on the housing. The rechargeable battery unit is connected between the AC-to-DC converter and the power inverter, a first-voltage DC power converted from the AC mains via the AC-to-DC converter is stored in the rechargeable battery unit, thereby supplies the first-voltage DC power to the power inverter and such that in use, the first-voltage DC power from the rechargeable battery unit is converted to AC output available at the AC outlet of the power supply by the power inverter.

摘要: A method for preventing over discharge of a battery includes steps of: detecting a gradient of a road on which a vehicle is running by a controller, when a battery is discharged under a state that an engine of the running vehicle is operated, detecting a clutch driving state of an engine clutch, which connects or disconnects the engine and an electric motor, after detecting the road gradient, detecting a SOC (State of Charge) of the battery after detecting the clutch driving state of the engine clutch, and carrying out a torque reserve control allowing more torque to be reserved in the engine, using a combination of the road gradient, the clutch driving state, and the battery SOC, such that the battery SOC is not lowered below a certain amount.

The second information may be obtained based on a change in angle when the rechargeable batteries are in the movement state. The battery manager control charging or discharging of the rechargeable batteries in a charge mode or a discharge mode based on the motion information.

摘要: A battery-driven electronic device includes a battery for outputting a battery voltage, a plurality of loads, a system unit, and a battery energy manager which is electrically connected with the battery, the loads and the system unit. The battery energy manager is adapted for detecting the battery voltage and set with a cutoff threshold, and a low-voltage threshold higher than the cutoff threshold. When the battery voltage is equal to or lower than the low-voltage threshold, the battery energy manager stops supplying power from the battery to at least one of the loads, and outputs a suspension command for the system unit to perform suspension process. When the battery voltage is equal to or lower than the cutoff threshold, the battery energy manager stops supplying power to the loads and the system unit.

摘要: A battery management system (BMS) may include a battery, a relay configured to electrically connect and disconnect the battery for supplying a voltage (an electric power) to an electric load to and from the electric load, the electric load configured to receive the voltage (the electric power) from the battery, to compare the received voltage (the electric power) with a reference value and to output a wakeup signal according to the compared result, when the relay is electrically connected, and a controller configured to wake up by the wakeup signal, to monitor a state of the battery and to control a state of the relay. It is possible to prevent overdischarge and overcharge of the battery by monitoring the battery through the electric load in a state in which a vehicle is turned off and switching the BSM to a wakeup state only if necessary.
