Abstract:
The present invention automatically and continuously packs women's sanitary products, paper diapers, and the like in a sealed manner and is installed in toilets of hotels, public toilets, and the like used by general public. When a trash is put in, film pull-out rollers (50), (60) are rotated by a motor (70) and films (31), (41) are pulled out from film feed rollers (30), (40). When passing between film pull-out rollers (50), (60), the trash is sealingly packed between the two films (31), (41). Therefore, since the trash can be automatically packed in a sealed manner and a clean state is maintained, the present invention is suitable for installation in toilets of hotels, public toilets, and the like used by general public.
Abstract:
A sector drive assembly for a camera which can open and close an aperture has a sector drive unit having an actuator, a drive force transmitting mechanism, and a sector position detecting unit that are removably mounted as a unit to a support plate, and a sector unit having a base plate formed with an aperture and one or more sectors for opening and closing the aperture. Since the sector drive unit is provided as a removably mountable unit, it is high in versatility and can be mounted to various different types of sector units. In addition, since it is configured to detect the state of the sectors before operation, reliable exposure or opening and closing of the aperture are achieved. In addition, a positional adjustment function is provided by a sector urging spring.
Abstract:
An optical detector is formed so that gate traces formed during molding of a lens member do not allow additional stray light to enter a light detecting element. A lens member for focusing incident light is mounted forward of a cylinder used for blocking extraneous light. An IC light detecting device used for range-finding is mounted behind the cylinder. The lens member has lens portions and a peripheral portion surrounding the lens portions. The lens portions and the peripheral portion are integrally molded from a transparent plastic material. Positioning protrusions extend from an outer peripheral surface of the lens member. Recessed portions in which the positioning protrusions can be engaged are formed in a front outer peripheral portion of the cylinder. Gate traces formed during molding are located in the positioning protrusions. Consequently, additional recessed portions are not needed to accommodate the gate traces.
Abstract:
A camera system of the type having a lens shutter, a focal-plane shutter, an aperture defined by the lens shutter, and a camera lens, includes a selector circuit which sets an operation mode to either a lens shutter mode in which the lens shutter is operated as a programmed shutter or a focal-plane shutter mode in which the shutter speed is controlled by the focal-plane shutter and the aperture of the camera system is controlled by the lens shutter; a first driving system which controls the lens shutter; a second driving system which controls the time during which the focal-plane shutter is operated; a sequential control circuit which controls the timing of the first and second driving systems; a setting circuit which sets the focal length of the camera lens; an arithmetic circuit which produces an output signal in response to the brightness of the subject, the distance to the subject, the focal length of the lens and the sensitivity of the film; and a switching circuit which switches the operation mode to the focal-plane shutter mode irrespective of the setting of the selector circuit when the exposure value to be controlled exceeds the programmed exposure value of the lens shutter and for switching either the operation mode or the shutter speed in accordance with the set focal length to prevent photographic blurring during camera shake, in response to the output from the arithmetic circuit.
Abstract:
A waste storage device includes a waste storage part for storing a waste item and a packaging device arranged in an upper part of the waste storage part. The packaging device includes two film feed rollers, two waste sealing rollers which pull out films and are arranged in parallel that the peripheral surfaces thereof are in contact via the pulled out respective films in a normal state and at least one of which has the peripheral surface that is elastically deformed along the shape of the waste item, and a driving part which rotates the rollers. Two friction rollers which are driven and rotated to sandwich the films sealing the waste item having passed between the waste sealing rollers and pull them downward are provided below the waste sealing rollers. The device prevents a waste item sealed with resin films from being caught in rollers such as waste sealing rollers.
Abstract:
A focal-plane shutter includes: a board including an opening; a leading blade and a trailing blade; a trailing blade lever; a first lever; a second lever; a self-holding type solenoid; a leading blade electromagnet and a trailing blade electromagnet; and a set lever.
Abstract:
There is provided an image pickup apparatus having an image pickup unit having an image pickup element, an optical unit having lenses, a sector drive unit having sectors arranged in a space for arranging the sectors, and supporting members being fixed in the space for arranging the sectors and having lengths equal to at least a width of the space for arranging the sectors in a light axis direction.
Abstract:
A focal-plane shutter has a first plate having a first opening, a second plate having a second opening, a shutter blade disposed between the first plate and the second plate, for opening and closing the first opening and the second opening, and a thin plate disposed at a side of the first plate facing the shutter blade and extending in such a direction that the shutter blade travel. A distance between an edge of the first opening and a center of the first opening is greater than that between an edge of the thin plate and the center of the first opening.
Abstract:
A sector drive unit for a camera includes sectors capable of opening and closing an aperture provided on a base plate. A first actuator drives the sectors to open and close the aperture, and a drive force transmitting mechanism transmits a driving force of the first actuator to the sectors. A sector retaining unit retains the sectors at the aperture-opening position or at the aperture-closing position, and a second actuator drives the sector retaining unit to a position to retain the sectors and to a position not to retain the sectors. The sector retaining unit prevents the sectors from moving accidentally due to an impact or the like when the sectors are at either the opened position or the closed position. The use of the second actuator for driving the sector retaining unit reduces power consumption and prevents generation of noise during the time of an exposure.
Abstract:
A reflection-type optical sensor is provided wherein misjudgment is prevented in detecting the existence of an object and determining whether a distance to the object is large or small. A housing is molded from white polycarbonate resin and has a light-projecting portion and a light-receiving portion. A light-projecting lens and a light-emitting device are mounted in a light-projecting chamber formed in the light-projecting portion. A light-receiving lens and a light-receiving device are mounted in a light-receiving chamber formed in the light-receiving portion. Those of the wall surfaces of the light-projecting chamber and the light-receiving chamber which are illuminated with light are light reflection-promoting surfaces that promote the reflection of light. The light reflection-promoting surfaces can be smooth surfaces, surfaces painted in white, inner surfaces of auxiliary members fabricated as separate parts from aluminum, or the like.
