Abstract: The embodiments of the present document provide a method and device for reporting a power headroom report, which relates to the field of mobile communications, and solves the problem of lacking a triggering and sending mechanism for a PHR of the dual-connectivity terminal in the related art. The method includes: a terminal triggering to report a PHR when detecting that a first cell is added in a SeNB; and the terminal reporting the PHR to a MeNB and/or the SeNB, to which the terminal belongs. The technical scheme provided in the embodiments of the present document is applicable to a long term evolution system, which implements the PHR reporting of the dual-connectivity terminal.
