    Abstract: A system and method for allocating network resources are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the system and method are configured to perform: broadcasting at least one message indicating first and second formats. The first format is used by a plurality of wireless communication devices to send respective first random access preambles and the second format is used by the plurality of wireless communication devices to send respective second random access preambles. The first and second formats respectively correspond to first and second cell coverage ranges of a wireless communication node, wherein the second cell coverage range is greater than the first cell coverage range.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for operation in a data transmission state in an idle mode using pre-configured dedicated resources are described. An exemplary method for wireless communication includes transmitting a first message comprising an indication of pre-configured dedicated resources for a communication between the network device and a terminal, and receiving a second message over the pre-configured dedicated resources, where a transmission of the second message by the terminal causes the terminal to switch from an idle state to a data transmission state in an idle mode. Another exemplary methods for wireless communication includes receiving a first message comprising an indication of pre-configured dedicated resources for a communication between a network device and the terminal, and switching from an idle state to a data transmission state in an idle mode upon transmitting a second message over the pre-configured dedicated resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for providing pre-configured dedicated resources for communications during the RRC (radio resource control) idle state, thereby enabling significant energy savings during the communication of small data packets, are described.     Abstract: Provided are a cell reselection method and device, a closed subscriber group (CSG) verification method and device, and a storage medium. The cell reselection method includes: a user equipment (UE) acquiring CSG information of a neighboring cell from a network side; and the UE determining a cell allowing access according to the acquired CSG information of the neighboring cell. The CSG verification method includes: after access of a UE having a CSG subscription attribute, a base station reporting CSG verification information of a serving cell and a neighboring cell of the UE to a mobility management entity (MME); and the base station acquiring CSG verification result information of the UE from the MME and storing the CSG verification result information, where the CSG verification result information is acquired by the MME through completing CSG verification of the UE in the serving cell and the neighboring cell according to the CSG verification information reported by the base station and subscription information of the UE acquired from a network side. The solution can reduce power consumption of a UE.
