    Abstract: Filters include a housing having an input port and an output port and a plurality of resonant cavities within the housing. Each resonant cavity may include a respective notch resonator. The filter may further include a bandpass filter that includes a plurality of bandpass resonators, the bandpass filter extending between the input port and the output port. The bandpass filter may replace a transmission line that is included in conventional filters.

    Abstract: The present invention provides filter assemblies, tuning elements and a method of tuning a filter. A filter assembly includes a housing having a top cover, a bottom cover and at least one sidewall, the top cover, the bottom cover and the at least one sidewall defining an internal cavity, the housing configured to receive first through third radio frequency (“RF”) transmission lines; a top metal sheet mounted within the internal cavity that has a plurality of openings that form a first hole pattern; and a bottom metal sheet mounted within the internal cavity that has a plurality of openings that form a second hole pattern. The top and bottom metal sheets are vertically spaced-apart from each other in a vertically stacked relationship within the internal cavity. The top metal sheet and the bottom metal sheet each include at least one resonator.

    Abstract: The present invention provides target devices such as filter units with at least one receiving channel with a stop surface that is electrically conductive and at least one cable with a connector assembly on a first end portion. The connector assembly includes a first member with an open channel. The first member is coupled to the end portion of the outer conductor with the free end of the inner conductor and the end portion of the dielectric extending through the open channel to reside forward of the first member. The first member resides in a respective one of the at least one receiving channel against the stop surface. The connector assembly also includes second member with an open channel. The second member is slidably coupled to the first end portion of the at least one cable and presses the first member against the stop surface.

    Abstract: An array antenna includes at least one radiating element, which is configured to transmit and receive radio frequency (RF) signals, and a multi RF sub-band combiner circuit electrically coupled to the at least one radiating element. The combiner circuit is configured to: (i) selectively filter and route first and second RF signals in non-adjacent portions of a first sub-band to first and second radio ports, respectively, (ii) pass components of third and fourth RF signals in adjacent portions of a second sub-band to each of the first and second radio ports, and (iii) pass components of fifth and sixth RF signals in adjacent portions of a third sub-band to each of the first and second radio ports. The third sub-band may span higher frequencies relative to the second sub-band, which may span higher frequencies relative to the first sub-band.
