摘要: A single mode cavity filter having at least three rectangular or elliptical resonant cavities and at least four coupling irises aligned along a straight axis is disclosed. The filter is configured to be tuned by way of an electro-mechanical device. The filter has tuning rods located in each of the cavities and configured to change, in use, the tuning of the filter. The tuning rods are aligned along an arcuate axis and the electro-mechanical device is configured to move the tuning rods according to an identical depth by way of a single motor in the electro-mechanical device.

摘要: A cavity filter includes a housing, the housing includes resonant cavity groups, each of the resonant cavity groups has two resonant cavities, a partitioning portions is provided between the two resonant cavities, and the partitioning portions is provided with an adjustment passage running through the two resonant cavities. A cover plate is mounted on the housing to cover the resonant cavity groups. A resonating assembly includes a resonant tube, a resonant cap connected with the resonant tube, and a resonant adjustment screw provided in the resonant tube. The resonant tube is disposed on the inner wall of the resonant cavities. The resonant cap is opposite the cover plate. A coupling adjustment assembly is used for reducing the magnetic coupling amount between the two resonant cavities and enhancing the electrical coupling amount between the two resonant cavities.

摘要: A resonator assembly comprising a resonant member within a conductive resonator cavity is disclosed. The resonant member extends from a first inner surface of the resonator cavity towards an opposing second inner surface. A main portion of the resonant member has a substantially constant first cross sectional area. A cap portion of the resonant member extending from the main portion towards the opposing second inner surface has a progressively increasing cross sectional area increasing from the first cross sectional area adjacent to the main portion to a larger cap cross sectional area at an end of the resonant member, the larger cap cross sectional area being at least 1.i times as large as the first cross sectional area. The resonant member may also have a flared section at the other end giving the resonant member an hour glass type shape.

摘要: A pair of joined dielectric resonator components of an RF filter includes a first dielectric resonator component and a second dielectric resonator component. The first dielectric resonator component includes a first block of dielectric material, which has a coating of a first conductive material and at least one planar face. The at least one planar face includes a first aperture formed by removing the coating of first conductive material from a portion of the planar face of the first block. The second dielectric resonator component includes a second block of dielectric material, which has a coating of a second conductive material and at least one planar face. The at least one planar face includes a second aperture formed by removing the coating of second conductive material from a portion of the planar face of the second block. The first and second dielectric resonator components are joined to one another with the coating of first conductive material on the planar face of the first block in contact with the coating of second conductive material on the planar face of the second block, and with the first aperture aligned with the second aperture. The second dielectric resonator component has a hole through the coating of second conductive material and into the second block of dielectric material. The hole is outside of the second aperture, and controls electric-field coupling between the first and second dielectric resonator components.

The reconfigurable microwave filter may also comprise a plurality of feedback circuits each configured to generate a feedback signal that is indicative of the resonant frequency of one of the plurality of cavity resonators and to transmit the feedback signal to one of the plurality of control circuits.
